“Nice Aparthotel.”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 24 November 2013 via mobile

Stayed 2 nights, very comfortable, fruendly staff. Ground floor apartment, large living and dining room, large terrace on green 8 and pond, very nice landscape. Bed was confortable, shower and bath amenities OK. Very good breakfast. Carpeting in common areas should be renovated. Nothing luxury but overall very good value for price.

Not stayed anywhere like this before, a cross between a hotel and serviced apartments. Probably built in the late 70s with very spacious apartment style accommodation - Bedroom, bathroom, separate toliet and open plan lounge, diner, kitchen (no appliances working though!). Very clean and comfortable. The bar and restaurant very good, food yummy with lots of groups coming for in for dinner including all the golfers. Staff very helpful and friendly - I felt comfortable here as a lone female traveller on a business trip.

This is the second time I stayed at the Hotel Golf-Residentie. The receptionist was friendly and efficient. The room was spacious, living room area (couch, arm chair and coffee table) with adjoining kitchen (no utensils, pots and pans, and dishes) and dining area (table with four chairs). The room faced the pond with a balcony (small table w/two chairs). The bathroom (good water pressure) was well maintained with separate toilet. The bedroom was roomy, comfortable bed with A/C. There were flat screen TV’s in both the living room and bedroom. No issues with the WiFi connection. Also there is free onsite parking and additional parking across from the hotel. There is a bar and restaurant (hours are flexible based on patrons, very accommodating), which I took advantage of. I thought the meals the restaurant offered were tasty and reasonably prices (saved having to going into town). And the breakfast was excellent, a combination of continental and western style (hot and cold selections). Also there was golf pro shop, helpful and friendly staff. Tee times were done at the front desk, the course was in good shape, enjoyed the two rounds. The staff was exceptional, the apartment/room was clean, well maintained and quiet, overall I enjoyed the stay and would recommend.

During our stay at the Hotel Golf, we fully enjoyed the friendly personnel. Housekeeping was very efficient and worked as well as they could. The hotel includes a restaurant/bar that is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Please note: do not plan on a late dinner without any notice. We once arrived at 7:30pm and were told that the chef had already left for the evening. Most of the business generated during the off-season is golf-related. Not many hotel rooms were occupied when we were there. The big benefit of the rooms is the size. You can choose from various sizes. The kitchenettes do not automatically come with dishes, silver wear and pots/pans, but you may request some at the front desk. Most guests will now also enjoy large flat screen TVs. The beds were very comfortable and the 5 piece bathroom was spacious. Guest laundry is located in the basement. There and throughout the rest of the hotel, you will notice the lack of investment and upkeep. For instance, many carpets need to be replaced. We had numerous nasty, large stains in our room and noticed them in other rooms, hallways, stairways, etc as well. The furniture looks like a collection of yard sale finds. The dishwasher in our kitchenette was not hooked up and could not be hooked up either for some reason. No clue why, but this is just one of the things that just makes you wonder. We were told that a new guest laundry dryer was in the works. Due to the flat screen TV update, there may be more desperately needed updates planned. I honestly prefer clean carpet over a flat-screen TV. A disgusting carpet and golf-clientele just don't match very well. Recommendation: If you are staying the night when it's not too busy, ask to see your room first. If you do not like it, just ask for a different room. P.S: Even thought the hotel guide in your room may state that animals are not allowed in the hotel - they are. We have seen numerous guests with dogs.

We travel to the Netherlands twice a month you tend to find most Hotel Rooms are very spacious, but these Apartments are massive more like a holiday rental
Very comfortable bed Lounge with large TV and seating area, table and chairs and large balcony with view over the golf course
We did not use restaurant on this occasion but certainly will next time
Breakfast large choice of hot and cold buffet
Would liked to have stayed another night
Great Staff all very helpful will certainly add this hotel to our list of places to stay

Was booked into this hotel by my work (against my wishes - see below) and found that for some strange reason I again was double booked by the hotel.. and was asked if I could share.

The previous time this occurred I had arrived late and had to share with a colleague (who I did not know... ) ... and neither of us received a discount for the "pleasure" of sharing each other's company and for having to see each other in the morning!... I know I travel to some strange hot and dusty countries where we have to camp together ... but I did not expect to do the same in The Netherlands... and pay for the privilege!

Suffice to say I did not accept the offer of sharing again and immediately booked out.

Hotel rooms are large - but need a bit of money spent on them. Also needed is a review of the process by which group reservations are made.

The 3 room apartment suites consisting of a kitchen, living room and bedroom are absolutely the best for vacation or business. The staff is attentive to all your needs. The food is far above the normal restaurant fare. Ask for a room facing the golf course and sit on your balcony and watch the sun set in this beautiful setting in the Netherlands!

Room Tip: Ask for a room overlooking the golf course!
