We decided to go here on our last night, we had read the trip advisor reviews that said it had a good choice and was reasonably priced. Again we came unstuck due to our lack of understanding of the Dutch language, therefore we went for the lamb as it was the only thing we knew for sure. I'm sure the one waitress who was willing to speak to us in English would have advised us but we felt a bit uncomfortable asking for help. The food was good, tasty and fresh, I had no problem with the quality of the food, it was good, slightly expensive but good all the same. The issue I had was with the staff, we were treated a little bit like an oddity , only the waitress who took our order would speak to us, everyone else seemed to avoid us at all cost.

Simple but tasty food. Spareribs, steak, wiener schnitzel. Not interesting for vegetarians. Fast and friendly service. Just one gripe: 2 small icecreams for the kids ("schatkist") cost EUR 7.20. That is ridiculous.

The food here was simple local cuisine, nothing fancy, but then there were other fancy places in the village if this is more your style. There seemed to be something for everyone on the menu and they did manage to cater for my gluten free diet, although this meant they had to leave off some of the parts of the dish I really wanted to try, and I couldn't have the more interesting sounding things. Having said that, my lamb was cooked how I like it and there were plenty of vegetables so I wasn't hungry. There were a few children running around and leaving the door open which was a shame, but then again,if you wanted to take children there it wouldn't be frowned on. I did enjoy the meal but I'd probably say it was nothing special.

I took the name of this restaurant from Tripadvisor after reading positive reviews on the internet.

It was a very pleasant surprise to be there. First of all service was 10 out 10. A very young man put a lot of diligence in making our evening and dinner pleasant. And he managed!

We served meat, respectively fish. Everything very delicious, fresh and....too much for our hunger. It was indeed too much food by the time we reached half of our portion, but as it was delicious we managed to fight the main course :).

The bill for 2 main courses and wine (by the way, big glasses of wine!) was around 40 euros - tip included.

The restaurant has both terrace and the inside part. We spent our whole evening on the terrace and that was really pleasant.

What we really like is that Dutch people really like to spoil themselves when it comes to food.
