My daughter of 14 and I stayed for two nights B&B plus one dinner at the Badhotel. The three-course fish dinner that we had on our second night was excellent, and the staff in the restaurant very friendly and accommodating. All three courses were really delicious. However, neither of the two receptionists was helpful and they both really did the minimum. The hotel would have another 'face' if the receptionists were more friendly.

We had booked a deal which included a hot drink on arrival (not offered - we had to ask), and a bike/walking map including binoculars to watch the seal lions on the coast (not available). We enjoyed our sauna but it was tiny - no room to sling a cat between the sauna and the sunbed. the restaurant is the saving grace: the breakfast was also good. The hotel is situated in the middle of the village with good access to shops and restaurants; it's about 10-15 minutes' walk to the beach. Overall, good value for money but send the receptionists on a course to be more client friendly!

Many thanks for your review. It is a pleasure to experience that you enjoyed our restaurant very much. Coming season we will ad a sauna as well in the B&B. I will personally discuss your opinion about the unfriendliness of the front office staff. This is very important to us.
We hope to welcome you again in our cosy hotel and advice you to visit our website for the best online deals.
Kind regards,
Olav Davidse

I took a party of birders to Zeeland to watch for geese. A welcome return to Badhotel - our third visit. As ever the staff were great, the hotel was warm and welcoming, and the restaurant was great. We go for the half board option, and the breakfast buffet is excellent and the set menu in the evening is fantastic. They clearly have a proper chef who knows how to cook both fish or steak properly! The dining room has a lovely ambiance and the adjoining bar is cozy...just right for a cold winter weekend. The rooms are simple but absolutely fine. We will return again.

We spent our cadeaubox in this charming hotel - especially the restaurant & the bar are very warmly decorated. There are different kind of rooms - and also to noise can be different. So, pay attention before unpacking. The restaurant serves excellent food certainly for Dutch norms. We had the Christmas diner : Pate with Chorizo, Wild consommé, Deer steak ( very tender and over 200gr / person) , and a variety of desserts. The waiters are very enjoyable with makes it even more attractive. We also want to inform that the breakfast offers a wide choice. Certainly an restaurant we can recommend. May be one remark , we had the impression that the Christmas diner is a little overpriced.

Room Tip: Pay attention to a motor-noise you can hear in some of the rooms . This noise is not stopping during...

We took an arrangement through a Belgian promosite which contains several services from the hotel like a 3 course dinner which was very good. We ordered the wine arrangement which serves us very delicious variaty wines with each course.
The next day we enjoyed their bike rental - good bikes with 3 gears (handy for the windy region).
In the late afternoon, we had a reservation for the sauna (1hour): This is a very small room but the sauna itself is big enough. The solarium is in the same room. No possibility to relax outside immediatly after being in de sauna. But there is a shower which could give the welcoming cold water..

Breakfast is nice and there's enough choice of everything.

Our room (no. 18) is a bit outdated and we wondered if this was the 'comfort room-type'. The pictures on a known bookingsite showed us other images... Quiet a small room but it is clean and had a hugh shared terrace.

A simple hotel in Renesse know for its healthy lifestyle. The rooms are basic, but comfortable, could do with some tea making etc in the rooms. Barthroom is basic but okay, the type of hoilday you would have in Renesse would mean that you would not spend much time in the rooms. Good point was that you can get BBC1 and BBC2 on TV, on the down side there is no lift. There is a large car park next to the hotel and the swimming pool looked like it would be popular in the summer, with lots of decking for lazying in the sun. The bar had an 'Irish' theme but was nice for a night cap.
Generally if on a cycling or walking holiday this was fine, but it could do with a face lift, seems a little like it was locked in th 70's.
No wifi in the rooms, I would not recommend it for business but fine for holidays if the price is right.

We went to Renesse on a short birding break to see the geese and do some winter birdwatching. Initially staying for 2 nights we extended to 3 nights.
We chose half board option - absolutely excellent! The set 3 course dinner was great and very good value. The wine was good also but a little expensive. Breakfast buffet excellent also.
The hotel has a cozy bar with a good range of beers.
This is our second stay and we would return.
Staff very friendly and helpful.
Rooms area good size, clean, and entirely adequate.

Room Tip: room 39 overlooks the pool and has a bath with shower overhead
