Excellent guesthouse - very welcoming, nice and pristinely clean room (one of the King ones with balcony and en suite), good breakfast - really one can ask for nothing else and at a very good price as well.

Room Tip: I would suggest if the King is anything to go by and comments on the room by the front door as poten...

Got a great deal here for a 2 night stay in November. It was warm and clean and obviously someone was going to a lot of trouble to upgrade. Our check in with Tony was funny and he was very helpful with a bit of local knowledge. The room (1) was lovely at the top of the house and clearly recently done up, super comfortable bed and nice shower.

Breakfast was ample and served fresh cooked to order so nothing was cold or unpleasant. We will definitely be back here, couldn't fault a thing.

If you stay here you will not be disappointed, less than 5 minutes walk to the sea front, 2 pubs in 3 minutes walk , 2 restaurants immediately out the door ( Italian and Portuguese)

We will be back.

Room Tip: rooms at the top of the house have less foot traffic, room (1) has an en-suite and is not subject to...

My wife and I booked into the Cross Street guesthouse the weekend gone, and I have to say it was one of the friendliest places we've had the pleasure of staying at. The guesthouse is both clean and tidy throughout, provides a decent breakfast, and is in an ideal location if you want to get out and explore the inners of Hove [and the Lanes]. I have to add it was excellent value for money. Highly recommended.

Room Tip: I would encourage people tp maybe book the higher floors, as street level can be noisy at times (par...

i have stayed in many hotels B&Bs and guesthouses, but this was one of the best yet. Service was friendly and efficient, room was immaculate and food was good. I was not ensuite but the shower room was never occupied when I needed it. I will certainly be going back.

Stayed here a few weeks ago, arriving with bikes after booking the night before. Had a late reply email (after midday while we were cycling) advising that bikes couldn't be stored. Upon arriving, owners weren't helpful at all, and didn't pretend to think about alternative solutions for local storage (even though there appeared to be enough room in their reception area anyway). Luckily, the helpful staff at the Best Western down the road offered to store them for free. We also note they argued a refund as out of the question, as they were "full" and they had been turning people down all afternoon, despite the vacancy sign in the door... Expensive for what it is, and a bit noisy, but we had a clean room and a good breakfast.

We stayed here during Brighton Pride. I recommend this place 100%. Close to everything, clean, and rooms are really nice and modern. The pictures don't do it justice at all. Towels are good quality and for the price you pay it is really good throughout. Breakfast is made to order, and really nice too! We loved it!

Room Tip: We had the ground foor room - Huge!
