“Genuine home from home.”
Reviewed 8 January 2017 for a stay in January 2017

The flat is roomy, comfortable, nicely decorated and very clean. Can't fault it! It was a genuine home from home, there are even plugs next to the mirrors so the girls could dry their hair comfortably. Kitchen has all you need too. There is a contained garden at the back of the property which will be great in the summer.
Parking wasn't an issue, there's plenty of choice around and it's not expensive at all. We were so lucky with the weather and were able to stroll into Brighton centre, which is just under 2 miles, along Brighton seafront - delightful. Taxis were reasonable for the return journey too.
Fiona is a fantastic host, she responded to our questions quickly and in a very friendly way. We will definitely return.

“Excellent apartment, stones throw from beach/shops and great bus service.”
Reviewed 28 August 2016 for a stay in August 2016

I traveled with my husband, two teenage daughters, my mother and our dogs. The apartment was spotless and had all the amenities you could need.
The bus service was excellent, frequent buses just at the top of the road. A stones throw from the beach too, we had some lovely walks.
Brighton is a fantastic place to visit, couldn't recommend it more, very dog friendly with lots of great places to eat.
The Beach Hut Apartment is a wonderful place to stay, highly recommended.

“Very spacious and superb location”
Reviewed 17 April 2016 for a stay in March 2016

The beachhut is a great apartment and really home from home. I needed to break up the Easter Holidays so went with my two children and dog for 3 nights. The first thing to say is that it is SO spacious. Loads of room in the bedrooms and bathrooms, no worries where to store or hang stuff in this apartment!
Having the garden was great for the dog, and she settled straight away.
The location is great, as you are a stones throw away from shops and restaurants in Hove, as well as the beachfront.
We walked into Brighton, which is easily "do-able" - even with a 4 year old! We got a taxi back, but if you have older children, you'd easily manage the return walk.
All mod cons in the apartment, and you don't want for anything.
The only thing to consider is cost of parking on top of your stay, if you are a driver. There is a public car park nearby which was extremely reasonable and I was happy to leave my car there during the day and overnight, and the bonus is, if you "pay by phone", you can top up your parking remotely, using the wifi at the apartment, so you don't need to return to your car!
This is definitely a place to visit with a dog - we met so many dog walkers along the beachfront and promenade. We were allowed to take her into a restaurant, and we also visited Hove Park, which has a lovely play area for children and a massive expanse of green for the dog to run around.
Although dogs are allowed in the apartment, you would not know any have visited. It is extremely clean and tidy.
I would definitely recommend this apartment.

Holiday apartment with a family feel. It felt like coming home from the moment we walked in. Nicely appointed and well equipped enough for me to cook Christmas Day Lunch. The shepherd's hut in the garden is a complete delight. Owner very helpful. Happily recommended.

“Classy home from home”
Reviewed 22 February 2016 for a stay in February 2016

We stayed for 3 nights during Feb half term with daughters, 12 & 14 plus the family dog. Well situated 2 minutes walk from Hove shops and restaurants and an easy seafront walk to Brighton. The apartment is really is as good as it looks in the photographs and it is obvious that the owners have taken great care in decoration , fixtures and fittings. Normally when you stay in a holiday let you might be lucky if the previous occupier had left some sugar or a few tea bags, but here we had tea coffee sugar fresh milk and much more. Shampoo, conditioner and body wash was in both bathrooms. (we are missing the under floor heating).

Kitchen has everything we have at home and more, and Sky TV laid on

It was too cold to make use of the BBQ and garden but it would be great in the summer. Dog walking is very good being 5 mins walk from the seafront, with dog and teen friendly pub and cafe nearby.

A great 3 days and good value

“Perfect for our family gathering”
Reviewed 6 October 2015 for a stay in October 2015

We had a great time at the Beach Hut Apartment. Six adults and two toddlers fit in easily.
The lounge / kitchen / diner is perfect for communal lounging / playing / cooking / eating / watching Sky TV.
The bathrooms are classy with the underfloor heating a nice touch.
The shepherd's hut is a bit of fun and differentiates. The kids were desperate to stay in it.
The location is perfect. Tesco at one end of the road, a beach at the other.
The owner was responsive and very helpful. She put out a cot when asked, left us parking vouchers, etc.
