We booked this hotel last minute. The hotel was very clean & tidy. Rooms a decent size. We paid £94 for B&B with a sea view but not sure if we feel this was value for money. The 2 staff in the dining room at breakfast time were very nice, efficient & very pleasant. There is parking behind the hotel & a couple of spaces at the front but if you go out, you may not have a space when you come back. However you can park on the road which has meters for payment but is free overnight. The hotel is very basic for a Best Western.
When we booked this we thought we were booking in Brighton but this one is in Hove.

My partner and I stayed here with our three young children for a couple of nights in august. We had a large family room with sea view which had a fairly new fitted bathroom. The only concern I had was being on the third floor and the windows opening outwards with no safety features on them so I was constantly worried about by two year old going anyway near, so we had to keep the windows shut most of the time, which wasn't ideal in the hot weather and the hotel has no air con. We ordered room service one night and the food was fabulous. Having a bus stop straight outside was very useful as we used buses the whole time we were there and kept the car in hotel's car park. Overall I would recommend this hotel but i think they definitely need to do something about the safety of their bedroom windows!

We turned up on spec hoping they would have a room and we were lucky enough to get the last in the hotel - Room 3 on the 1st floor with lovely sea view. At a fantastic price of £79 per night for a 'double' we were pleasantly surprised to be greeted with a massive room with a super king bed and 2 singles. The space was wonderful and the bathroom newly fitted with shower above bath. We didn't have breakfast but ate in the evening in the hotel and had a delicious meal also so were very impressed. I would rate it a very good 3-4 star but would certainly stay again. Its right on the beach and walking distance of shops and restaurants. Just 2.5 mile walk into Brighton.

Room Tip: We loved room 3! HUGE!

This hotel offers good value for money - especially when taking into account the free car parking.

We stayed in a land facing room which was very good. The room was spacious, the bathroom modern and clean and the bed comfortable. Plenty of tea, coffee etc. however cups old and looked a little grubby.

Check in was efficient, and reception was pleasant, as was the bar areas and restaurant where breakfast was served.

Although overall I have rated this hotel very good, and I would not hesitate to return, there were a couple of niggles.

Breakfast was poor, and if we had not booked bed and breakfast certainly not worth £12 they charged and I would recommend eating at one of the many other establishments that offer breakfast in the area. The breakfast table was heavily over burdened with vases, a salad plate full of mini condiments, a large selection of sugars and other items - making reading a paper (even on an electronic device) difficult. The cooked breakfast was ok, but the bacon hard (not crispy) and the scrambled eggs bland. Nothing particularly bad, but not to our tastes.

Location of the hotel is wonderful, especially if you like Brighton and not the noise. There is a very good local bus service which covers all the tourist attractions. With busses running every few minutes for a reasonable fare.

Only other niggle was check out of the hotel. The receptionist greeted us then took a phone call, and another one and another one! Not the best end!

Overall though a good little hotel.

My boyfriend and I stayed here over the bank holiday Monday - Tuesday in late August. The hotel is very nice and the rooms are easy to find and spacious. We didn't have a sea view room but that didn't matter. The hotel is in Hove so it's quite a walk even to get to the burnt out pier, but you walk along the promenade which is nice anyway.
The free parking is great, as long as you can get a space. There are a few around the back, maybe 12(ish), and there are about 3 spaces in front of the hotel where you can park.
The restaurant for breakfast is nice and the staff are nice and welcoming also.

The only problem we had was getting 10% off the price with AA. Best Western do have a deal with AA so that members can get the discount, but it isn't clear on any site how best to do it. We booked it online like the website told us, but when we got to the hotel the receptionist said she'd never heard of it. We then found out we had to phone up and quote a number to then get the discount. Bit confusing, but if anyone wants to do that also, it's best to ring the number and see what they say.

We recently stayed at the hotel for 2 nights. Located on the seafront in Hove about 3km from Brighton, with a lovely flat walk along the ocean. Brighton is full of shops, restaurants and tourist attractions. We walked into Brighton and spent the day viewing the Palace and other attractions. The hotel does have a restaurant for both evening meals and breakfast. Car parking is available at the rear of the hotel free of charge. The room was large and clean with all appointments necessary.

Don't judge this hotel from its looks or the lobby, the rooms here are really good, We have stayed a couple of times in a room with a sea view and couldn't be more satisfied. The rooms are quite spacious, the bathrooms spotless and the view wonderful. Breakfast includes full English if you so wish. The location is great with shops, restaurants, pubs nearby. Heavy traffic on the road by the hotel, but not particularly noisy with the windows closed. Would definitely choose to stay here again.
