From the outside this hotel is nothing special, but we were really pleased with the size of the family 4 room and the view was just brilliant. We were on the first floor, in room 15, which is situated on the front of the building. There is a busy road below but we didn't have any trouble sleeping. It looks out over a green to the sea with a row of beach huts in between. The room had 2 singles and a king size bed, and was cleaned to a high standard. The full english breakfast was delicious, there was also cereal, fruit, yoghurt and cheese to help yourself to. The staff were extremely helpful, nothing was too much trouble. Its a short walk to the nearest shops and pubs, 2 minutes to the beach and within easy access of the bus routes, which we used to get us to and from Brighton Pier, which is also a very pleasant walk along the sea front in about half an hour.

Room Tip: Ask for a sea view, you wont be disappointed.

Stayed one night in a comfortable twin room. The hotel adequately met all our needs. Staff were pleasant. Unable to comment on the restaurant as we did not eat there. A quiet alternative to Brighton itself.

We stayed as husband did the London to Brighton bike ride. The room was a good size with a double and single bed. The bathroom was clean and the shower was great. We had food in the hotel and it was nice. The hotel is a 30min walk to the pier and the road was very noisy if the window was left open but a nice place to stay.

We asked for a sea view and were given a family room although we were a couple. The room was so spacious, clean and the view was great to wake up to. The staff were really friendly and hospitable. The hotel is about half an hour walk from Brighton Pier, which suited us, as it was close enough to walk but far enough away from the noise of Brighton, although should you wish not to walk the bus stop is just outside the hotel. We will certainly stay at this hotel again

Just come back from a 2 night stay at this hotel, we had a family room which had lovely sea views and was spacious, clean and had the biggest bath ever.
We never ate in the hotel, but looking at menu it did look a bit expensive, both for the restaurant and room service, but it is what you expect from most hotels.
We have been to Brighton a few times and love it. We have stayed at bigger hotels, like the Devere and Thistle, but there is something nice and friendly about this hotel. All the staff we encountered were professional and courteous.
There is a free car park, which is rare in Brighton. The walk along the seafront towards Brighton is so relaxing and a great way of chilling out.
The only downside with the hotel is the Wi-Fi, not very good I should imagine, if you were there on business and needed to do your work.
But I would certainly stay at this hotel again and enjoy it.
