Reviewed 16 September 2013

We were delighted with our stay at the Seafield. Spotlessly clean throughout. Nice touch having complimentary wine/chocolates and peanuts on the beds. Together with water and coke in a fridge as an extra to the usual tea making facilities and biscuits Towels and bed linen clean and fresh. It was a pleasure to go down to breakfast each morning to be greeted by lovely staff and then be served a first class full English breakfast. Also nice to see white linen cloths on the tables. Also liked the fact that jams, butters, milks, sauces etc not in little plastic catering cartons.
The location is good too. A nice quiet street. We will definitely be staying here again on our visits to Hove. Seafield House has a touch of class at an affordable price.

Stayed at the Seafield House for the weekend as we went to a festival in Lewes!!! Had a great stay the rooms were lovely very clean, breakfast was good, got no complaints at all would definitely recommend for anyone wanting to stay in Brighton. It is about a 25min walk into the centre & brighton pier but its a nice walk along the beach front.

Easy to find, great location. friendly staff. very clean, modern, spacious rooms. Just be careful using the shower. Fridge with complementary water and coke and small bottle of wine, and a great breakfast with wide selection to complement but breakfast room smaller than guests so could get busy and have to wait for table but it was worth it. Would stay again.

I found this place after searching nearly 100 different hotels etc. They offered a one night Saturday stay, less than 5 minutes walk to the beach, lovely rooms (I stayed in the twin - highly recommended), complimentary tea/coffee, hot chocolate water, coke/diet coke (chilled in the fridge), biscuits. The website was very useful as you can choose the room you like, and check availability, and it was very easy to book online. Our room £115 for the night also included a home-cooked fry up breakfast, numerous juices, meat/cheese, cereal, toast/jam/marmalade. The secruity was extremely good to the building and the room, and the staff we met were very helpful. The location was 4 miles from Brighton Pier but one of my highlights was walking along the promenade all the way from this Guest House to the Pier. I cannot wait to return to this area and will certainly wish to book here again.

We stayed here for 3 nights and were seriously impressed! Complementary drinks and some chocolates, bath robes, TV and delicious breakfasts. The staff were polite and friendly, the street is quiet and we had no disruption. We would definitely stay here again, can't wait to go back!

We spent 3 nights here. Managed to find it relatively easily by following the directions supplied on the booking confirmation. Was very impressed with the room we were allocated in the basement at the back, which was very sunny first thing and quiet. The fixtures and fittings are very modern and the extra touches of bathrobes, fridge with complimentary water, coke and red wine were much appreciated. Big TV fitted to wall could be viewed from bed! Breakfast was good, with various options. Lots of choice of places to eat dinner in next road, shops and supermarket.

This B & B is in Hove so was a lot cheaper than Brighton and they also offer FREE parking bays just outside the hotel. The room was very clean and had a small bottle of wine and glasses to welcome us and fluffy bathrobes. We were in the Neville room and the bathroom was very small but equally clean. The breakfast was cooked fresh to order with plenty of choice. We will certainly stay here again when we visit Brighton or maybe try their sister hotel - Lichfield House.
