We have passed this pub so many times over the years. But never again. One of the best kept secrets in somerset. The share platter was the biggest I have ever had. And the choice was amazing. Will be back very soon and often. Also lovely lady married to the chef. Thanks.

Really comfy bedroom, quiet & clean, though hallways were in the process of being decorated. Slept as well as I do at home. Great welcome, registering through pub and entering through restaurant. A real pleasure to stay here, will definitely do so again.

Room Tip: Overlooking showground is great view, and away from road.

We stayed two nights at the Prestleigh inn in the quad room and though snug, it was both clean and comfortable. Very nice shower and comfy beds. The food is wonderful- we ate two dinners and two (included) breakfasts and all were delicious. It's an ideal location to see somerset by car, and I would recommend it to anyone.

We just came for Sunday Lunch to see a friend. The roast was a good price, but sadly the pork didn't come with crackling. A good variety of veg and packed on the plate - larger plates would have made it easier to eat. The food was extremely salty though and that may have been the gravy.

It's pretty average inside and maybe a little on the grubby side, but has a good play area outside and great views over the valleys. It suited our purposes as a place to catch up with old friends and shelter from the rain and cold.

Staff were very tolerant of our "active" children and the landlady was very friendly.

Excellent value for money but basic accommodation, having said that the room was a good size with a huge double bed, Tv, coffee and tea facilities and a good en suite with a hot shower and spotlessly clean so what more can you expect for £35!!
Really good food which is all home made and freshly cooked to order, good selection of draft ale and a good wine selection. Lovely large cooked breakfast and really friendly staff especially the owners daughter in law who never seemed to stop working,
I found this by chance and it is really convenient for the Bath Show ground as it is located next door, I will definitely be returning as I attend classic car sales four times a year at the show ground .Great value and an enjoyable stay.

Stayed two nights. The food is amazing fantastic. The owners and staff were helpful, friendly and extremely accommodating. Nothing was too much trouble. Indeed, the rooms are tired and dated but this place is clearly a working progress and it was thoroughly clean throughout. What more do you need? It was quiet, lovely play area outside for the children, beautiful views. Breakfast included was beautifully made, all food cooked to order. Honestly not a bad word to say. With service like we received I would highly recommend The Prestleigh Inn for it's food and hospitality.

Room Tip: We stayed in room 5.
