We stayed three nights in the middle of September. The experience was exceptional from the welcome by Christine & Michael on arrival to departure. The breakfasts were better than home cooked and the evening meals delightful. The portions being large and everything perfectly cooked.

Another fantastic bank holiday stay. We arrived after a long journey to be greeted by Christine and Michael with a hug and a cup of tea.
We had our now usual room which has been refurbished, it is and has always been immaculate.
We feel so privalidged to be staying in such a wonderful place, you are made to feel like family.
Michael is such a wonderful chef, the food is amazing, my taste buds are tingling at the thought!!!
There are not the words to say how fantastic a stay a Carrmoor is, Once experienced you will book again.
We look forward to visiting again and again and again!!!
P.S the smoked salmon and scrambled eggs for breakfast is divine mmmmmm

Room Tip: All rooms are fantastic

we stay here on our way up to the very north east of scotland, and on our way back home, nothing is too much trouble , even though we only stay 1 night. the rooms are spotless, bright and airy, the meals are delicious with a very good choice, Michael hasn't heard of 'portion control'
Michael and Christine are both excellent hosts, with 1st class knowledge of the area, it's a pleasure to stay with them.

Room Tip: book early.

Stayed two nights at the end of August- start of September. An excellent B&B which also caters for evening meals by request. (Don't hesitate to request!!!!). On arrival we were warmly greated by Michael and met an equally warm and welcoming Christine later on. The room had everything we needed.

This was our first visit to the Carrmoor and it will certainly not be our last. A wonderful warm welcome greeted us together with tea, coffee and biscuits. Our spacious room was clean and beautifully decorated and the en-suite was well equipped. It was not like staying a guest house it was more like staying with friends or family ( but better). Christine and Michael are superb hosts- nothing is too much trouble. The food was excellent, fresh and cooked to order.

I can't say enough positive about our stay at the Carrmoor. The rooms are clean and charming, and in a quaint little town, but what really made our stay spectacular were the hosts. Christine and Michael made us feel like family! They made wonderful recommendations of places to visit in the area, and they were so accommodating and friendly. Michael is an amazing chef - you'll look forward to dinner "in" every night during your stay! We genuinely didn't want to leave, and wish we lived closer so that (like many of their patrons) we could come back every year.

Have recently returned from another very enjoyable week's holiday at Carrmoor Guest House. This was our sixteenth visit and we treat it as our second home. Christine and Michael always make you very welcome and they are the perfect hosts. Nothing is too much trouble for them. The bedrooms are very comfortable and well equipped. The food is of a high standard with great variety and very well presented. A very well run family establishment and my wife and I would have no hesitation in recommending a visit if you are planning to be in the area.
In closing, needless to say, we have already booked a return visit for next year.
