“A wee gem of a course”

What a cracking 9 hole course, make no mistake it's challenging but a fair course for both low and high handicappers. On arriving my friend and I were warmly welcomed by the starter and greenkeeper who gave us a few tips for our round. We also had some bacon rolls beforehand which filled the hole. If you are ever in the area of Carrbridge go and play this course you will not be disappointed. Our two wives popped in for some lunch which we paid for courtesy of the starter hee hee we will definitely back next year for sure

Thanks for taking the time to review our course. Once again the friendly welcome is mentioned and that's something we're proud of - along with good bacon rolls!! Hope to see you back again soon.

We stayed here on the way across to the western Highlands because we had stayed here before on our honeymoon in 2004 and found it a really nice place. It's a nice quiet village which hasn't really changed in that time and, is not far from Inverness for shopping etc.
Great old drovers bridge in the centre which is worth a photograph or two.

Thanks for taking the time to review our golf course...we appreciate it. The "old" bridge was built in 1717 to take coffins across the river to the old cemetery at Duthil and must be one of the most photographed bridges in the Highlands. Glad you enjoyed your golf and hope to see you back in the future.

Recommended by my brother and I took the opportunity to play the course when up from Glasgow for work in Grantown-on-Spey. Cracking course with some challenging holes and extremely well manicure by the green staff. Only managed 9 holes but will definately be back to enjoy some more golf.

Thanks for taking the time to review our course, we appreciate it. We have a few members from the Glasgow and Central belt area so it's good to hear that you enjoyed the scenery as well. Course is in good condition at the moment and it won't be long till the heather is in full bloom - at that point the course is at its best. Perhaps the next time you'll be able to play 18 holes and play some of the holes from a different teeing ground. Thanks again.

Thanks for taking the time to review our course, we appreciate your kind words and I'll pass them on to our Head Green Keeper. Although only 9 holes we pride ourselves in the warm welcome we give to visitors and the condition of the course. Having played Boat of Garten recently I think we compare very well on price and condition. Thanks again for the review and perhaps we'll see you again another time...did you par the first?

Margaret, thanks for taking the time to review our course. I'm glad you enjoyed it so much you've asked for applications to join! I'll respond to that via eMail separately. The course is in good condition at the moment and we've just spent three weeks painting the clubhouse and outbuildings - all done by a few volunteers! Really pleased with the result. Hope to see you next time you're up on holiday
