Stopped here on my way home to Inverness for a bite to eat at lunch time. I was greeted and seated by Alan - a charming and pleasant young man. I ordered a Tex Mex Burger and was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the meal. I forget the name of my server but he was a charming young scottish lad. I am very much looking forward to coming back in the future with friends and would definitely recommend this hotel to all!!

Stayed for a four night visit last week at the Carrbridge Hotel. Despite being a 3 star hotel the room was lovely and clean with the food spot on as well. General manager Robert and all his staff are very professional and hard working. Special mention must go to our Maynes coach driver David (Dont call him Dave ha ha ) and our very informative tour guide mr nick Clark. Well done to all concerned in our very enjoyable break.

Stayed at the Carbbridge a few weeks ago with a coach group. Found the 3 star Carbridge very well organised for groups. Food, Rooms and service first class. Any requests you had were soon done for you.
First class for a 3 star rating.

The hotel is a little old fashioned but the bedroom that we had was in a fairly new part of the hotel. It was quiet, small but comfortable with en-suite facilities. The accommodation was reasonable.
We stayed as bed breakfast and evening meal. Breakfast was good with a wide selection to choose from including a full English breakfast. (They called it Scottish) However the evening meal was very poor with little thought given to the menu. Roast beef that I think had been cooked in a pressure cooker with no taste at all. Chicken and ham pie that had more pastry than filling. Pork that had been cooked to death and no taste. All served with boiled potatoes, carrots and cauliflower. After talking the the assistant manager there was a slight change as we have carrots and broccoli. The meal was rounded off with a choice of sweets and tea or coffee. The coffee was absolutely awful.
I would not recommend this hotel.

Room Tip: Ask for the new wing

Despite the trepidation of travelling alone. it ended up to be a most enjoyable break. The staff were really friendly, the tour guide and driver very knowledgeable and helpful, and I would definitely travel on my own again.
The food at the hotel was more than adequate, and there was always plenty of choice for breakfast and the evening meal. If someone found fault with what was on offer, they are either too picky or need to pay more for their break and go more "up market" ! You get what you pay for and when taken into account the three excursion days, with wonderful train journeys, plus hotel transfers to and from the airport, it was excellent value for money.
My only gripe is being charged a "single supplement" for what was a purpose built single room...don't mind paying a SS for the use of a double or twin, but not for a room definitely built for solo occupancy !

Room Tip: Didn't see any of the other rooms so can't comment. Mine was on the ground floor next to the car park but I had more noise from the people above me getting up and moving around at 5 am !
