The facilities are of average standards for a top 10, but is in the top bracket dollar wise. Don't mind paying top dollars for great venue and services but don't think this is worth $48 a night in the off season for a powered site. Staff were pleasant & polite.

Thank you for your comments. We appreciate your feed back on price however we do feel we are fairly priced within the market and for what we offer our guests on the way of services and facilities all year round. The Heated pool, Jumping Pillow and renovated kitchen and TV lounges have proven to be very popular for our guests. We will how ever keep monitoring our place in the market. Thank you

My family and I travel around New Zealand often and stayed at the Coromandel Top 10 Holiday Park during the Christmas break. We loved our stay so much that we returned during the 1st school holiday break and only wish we could have stayed longer.
The holiday park is conveniently to everything. Shops, restaurants, beaches, bush walks and activities are close by.
The accommodation options are wide at the park, lots of activities for children, clean, tidy and a great atmosphere.
In particular I would like to praise the service we received, especially from Helen. Helen was our main contact from the booking, to arrrival and check-in, during our stay and on check-out. Helen is unique in the way she deals with people which you do not see all that often when travelling. I think we came back during the holidays to see and have a laugh with Helen as well as visit the Coromandel.
We are looking foward to our next visit.

Regards
Sarah (and the clan)

Helen and Trevor together are a great team. I will most certainly be forwarding this feedback to them. As a team we love to get positive feedback both about our customer service and grounds. Thank you for taking the time to write your positive encouraging comments.
Hope to see you again soon

After a long day driving in NZ, came across the Coromandel Top 10 Park and enquired at reception the price for a powered site for our campervan. It was $NZ48. This is at least $NZ15 - $NZ20 more than the independently owned parks we have stayed in so far. As we were tired from the long drive, reluctantly paid up. The facilities are not that special and had to wait to use the limited toilet and shower facilities. Seems that the corporate Top 10 brand hikes the prices up for mediocre provision of services. We will not be using Top 10 again.

Thank you for your comments, It is disappointing to hear that you feel you not receive the value of your stay at our TOP 10. We are an independently owned and operated park and we constantly work at providing a great service and experience for all our guests.I'm not sure if you were aware but we have 3 ablution blocks onsite, a heated pool, 2 x BBQ areas and beautiful park like grounds that look out onto the Ranges.
I do hope you have had the chance of staying in other TOP 10 parks around New Zealand as they all offer different experiences to a high value. The TOP 10 membership card is also of great value.
Regards
Caron

The Top 10 Holliday Park in Coromandel delivered beyond all our expectations. I would normally stay in hotels and can't believe the range of facilities on offer. The Standard Cabins are snug but modern and clean. They were equipped with bottom sheets and pillow slips plus duvets. The bunk beds were wide and safe for the kids even though three high (and they loved it). The kitchen was clean and perfectly functional with lots of mix and match crockery and cutlery which was perfect. Plenty of pots and pans and shared fridges which were safe to leave thing in overnight. The kids and adults loved the pool, plus the bouncy pillow and pedal cars. The management were helpful when booking, answering my questions before we arrived and during, especially when the storm over Easter meant our ferry was cancelled and we arrived a day late. They recommended a great taxi company who were just as good. Amazing holiday, all because the people the run this place really understand customer service. Thanks so much. We would DEFINITELY come again.

Room Tip: The standard cabins are in a great quiet spot and right near the quieter kitchen and showers.

I must say it was great to see so many of you making the most of a wet Easter. Thank you for your comments. Our TOP 10 staff work hard to deliver a good experience to our guests and a wet Easter can be very challenging.
Great to see happy faces and happy kids.
Hope to see you back again soon.

Caron.

Aprill 17th 2014, my wife booked us a night here for my birthday A week ago. The weather for the whole weekend is really bad. So i told her change the night and see if they had availability for the next weekend. It should say something on there website about not being able to change nights. Considering we called reception more than 24hours before stay you would think they would be able to help us out. Its not like we wanted to cancell and get our money back.No way! We got the stiff NO, why we asked? "Its policy" thats it, thats all we got.We will not be going back, and when i gather all the boys for a weekend fishing trip, we will not be staying in top ten holiday park. Very dissapointed in the outcome. Obviously the $40 fee means more to them than any future business. Cheers l

Thank you Logan for your response. As you can quite well appreciate that nobody wants to go away when it is raining. It is a hard situation to manage when we are fully operational and have provided activities within our park like the heated pool and jumping pillow for guests to enjoy. Our staff work really hard to deliver complete customer satisfaction but i will be meeting with them to discuss your experience and the phone manner.
We have cancellation policies that out line our terms and conditions when booking.

We do hope you can pop over to the Coromandel again soon.

Caron

Coromandel Top 10 Holiday Park is located just outside town on the road to Colville and opposite the police station. The park has the local museum at its doorstep and the town centre at walking distance. Nearby you find the Driving Creek Railway which takes tourist up the hill on a small gauge track.

The park is pleasant and appears very well maintained. The park offers cabins, studio units and powered & unpowered sites. We had a powered site. As it was off-season we saw not many other camper-vans in the park. Staffs were friendly and helpful. The communal toilets and showers were spotless.

The park apparently is a popular holiday & week-end destination as it is a four hours drive from Auckland. In summer it must be an busy place. Facilities include a heated outdoor swimming pool, children's playground, jumping pillow, TV room, coin-operated laundry, shared kitchen facility & BBQ, and dining area.Wi-Fi internet is extra at NZ$ 7 per day.

Considering its nice location we found Coromandel Top 10 Holiday Park acceptably priced for the good quality offered. The quiet location near the town is great. We will not hesitate to stay there again.

Had a short stay here for a friend's wedding. I was most surprised at how well presented the holiday park was and how clean and well set up the cabins were. I didn't have time to check out the facilities but looked like there was everything you might need. Great place for families and excellent value.
