Rustic chic. Very well styled and a great location. We stayed in the bottom studio and feel that is the best in regards to privacy. Lovely host who comes to welcome you. Lovely hearing the birds as you relax in the tub. Enjoy the fireplace inside if it is chilly. Will be back and have already recommended it too many!!!
Thank you for sharing your special place.

We stayed here (in the lower studio), on the way up from Auckland, traveling over to the other side of the Coromandel. We were sad to have left after only one night (we'd stayed once before, for a bit longer, and were looking forward to coming back) as the place is so relaxing and comfortable and Robyn is such a help if you need anything. The whole area is beautiful and the little outdoor setting (with bath!) makes the most of the surroundings, especially if you get good weather. It's very tranquil here at night and we thought we might have even heard a kiwi's call. It's lovely to be able to cater for yourself in these studios, for dinner in or a quick breakfast, but it's also not too far to walk to the wonderful Driving Creek Cafe, down the road. Can't recommend this place highly enough if you like staying somewhere that's both beautiful and a bit out of the ordinary.

We spent two nights here and it was absolute bliss! The lower studio is definitely the better option as it offers more privacy. This is truly the perfect getaway for those wanting to get away from it all. And the outdoor bath - amazing! Will definitely return soon.

We spent a couple of nights at Indigo Bush Studios and really loved the secluded, peaceful surroundings, the cosy studio accommodation and clever, quirky design touches that made great use of indoor and outdoor spaces. Though easy to find and convenient for Coromandel Town and beautiful local beaches, the studios are tucked away on a wooded hillside and the no-TV/no-internet policy give a sense of being a million miles from anywhere. Highly recommended for a relaxing 'off the grid' retreat.

This was the perfect place to spend the last 2 nights of our honeymoon. We stayed in the upper studio and it was definitely private enough. The outdoor bath is a special treat and the rooms are beautifully decorated - a lot of thought has gone into them. The small touches made our stay so pleasant.

Not too far from town either but far enough away that you feel you are in the middle of the bush. Highly recommend and we hope to return someday!

Absolutely stunning place set in a little patch of bush. We loved the décor and the outdoor bath and also the corner platform bed (very comfortable). Nice quick drive into the town for dinner by the beach which was great. Would recommend the lower room as the top room had less privacy. The no TV policy was fantastic as it allowed my partner and I to really spend quality time together. Highly recommend this place for a relaxing night or weekend away, well worth the trip.

Room Tip: Lower room has more privacy

What a cosy little slice of heaven that provided us with the escape for our honeymoon night. We thoroughly enjoyed the outdoor bath, cheese and most of all solitude.

Would highly recommend it to anyone who is looking for a romantic get-away, a retreat or simply a bolt hole to hide from the rest of the world.

Room Tip: The lower studio is more secluded which we preferred but the upper studio is more accessible and mor...
