“Coromandel Adventures for a great tour”

Sarni, our guide, dropped us off at The Mussel Kitchen about 1/2 way thru the tour of the area. BEST GREEN LIPS YET!! She picked us up an hour later for a walking tour of a local Kauri forest and saw a very pretty waterfall. Great tour, good price, great guide, beautiful area. Well worth it!

“Best way to see the northern Coromandel”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 22 February 2013

We didn't fancy driving our rental car north of Colville, having already driven miles on unsealed NZ roads. Thank goodness for Coromandel Adventures... Willie gave us a wonderful trip. We especially liked that it started at 12 noon, instead of early, which suited a relaxing holiday better. He told us many interesting things about the trees, the history etc and also enabled us to do a walk one way, which would have been impossible if we had driven ourselves. The walk was really beautiful... having seen so many beautiful places in NZ, it is tempting to think 'enough', but the northern tip of the Coromandel really does deserve exploring... paying for a trip is worthwhile (and good value). Highly recommended.

“Thank you, Willie and Sarni!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 10 February 2013

If i'm not mistaken, coromandel adventures in run by Willie and Sarni, two really knowledgable and extremely friendly nice people. I took the beach express tour two days ago and Willie was the driver slash tour guide. Willie has abundant knowledge regarding the history, geography, nature and culture in the Coromandel region. He is real funny and looks after your safety, too! Sarni helped me a lot with my booking and she drove me back to the ferry terminal and I caught the night ferry back to Auckland in time.
I had a great great time in Coromandel and it would be a loss if you don't take a tour from Coromandel Adventures!

“Excellent and friendly service.”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 4 February 2013

From the moment we arrived on the ferry from Auckland we felt 'looked after' by the team from Coromandel Adventures. Immediately, they checked with all on the bus to ensure that they all knew where they were going and how they were going to get there. Nothing was a problem! We were taken to the Driving Creek Railway and after that wonderful experience, our driver looked out for us and the others on the bus. They also shuttled us back to the ferry. Incredibly friendly and informative people. I would definitely use them again and perhaps venture further next time.

“Friendly, knowledgable locals”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 2 February 2013

We arrived on the 360 degree ferry from Auckland , not really knowing what to expect for our days adventure. We were met by Sarni who greeted us warmly, gave a short talk about the features her Company offered, and of course a tempting colour brochure which spelt out the options and prices. On the short bus trip into the Coromandel township she spoke with all customers on the bus to see if she could help them out planning their days activities.
We chose to do a combo which included the Railway ride, Bush walk and scenic drive. Cost $25.
Sarni was passionate about the area and told lots of interesting stories about the history and what was being done today to restore the native trees and bush. The walk in the bush was full of interesting facts about the Kauri Trees and other flora.
Before long it was 4pm and we were back to the wharf to get our ferry back to Auckland.
We both agreed that it was a most interesting and enjoyable day a big thanks to Coromandel Adventure Day tours for the informative and enjoying experience.
Nothing like letting the locals show you around. You get to see and hear things you would never experience on your own.
