“Awesome Place-Great Find”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 18 October 2012

Paspartu is an awesome find in Nosara. The place is immaculate and the owners Mario and Monika could not be more welcoming and accommodating. The rooms are incredibly comfortable and simple, purposeful, and you can tell the owners paid attention to details when the place was built. The bed was super comfortable, quality mattress, even down to great sheets. It is a short walk to playa pelada and one special aspect is that you are right next to the most incredible gelato in all of Costa Rica. It is a great find at a great price and a place to keep returning. Don't miss this one!!!!

Got lucky and stumbled on Paspartu on a recent surf trip. The rooms were super clean, comfortable and secure. Beautiful courtyard between rooms with tables, hammocks and great landscaping. Short walk to playa pelada, guiones, stores and multiple restaraunts. Mario was and excellent host introducing us to local surfers, arranging a last minute canopy tour, and even cooked us some killer Risotto after a long day of surfing. We will definatly stay again next time we are in the area!

Mario and Monika do a wonderful job making their guests feel welcome and helping them optimize their time around the area. Passpartu is walking distance from Playa Pelada and also about a ten minute drive from Playa Guiones ( a good surf spot) as well as many delicious eating establishments. The rooms and bathrooms are pristine and the yard is very well groomed and rooms are cheaply priced. There's also great gelato and an Internet cafe next door and good pizza down the road. I will definitely be back.

Stopped by this great little place my last trip to Costa Rica. A truly great location to rest your head. You will not find more caring and helpful owners any place on the planet. Be confident you will be well cared for during your stay.
P.S. Monica is a truly magical yoga instructor!

The owners of Paspartu have lived in the area from many years. I would defiantly recommend Paspartu as it is close to EVERYTHING! It is very reasonably priced, the best deal in the area. It is safe and secure and the owners, Mario and Monica are amazing people who care about the community and have created a very special place that must not be missed!

My husband and I were so stoked to find this place. It's definitely one of the coolest spots around Nosara, and by far our favorite place to stay on the Pelada side. Great location near the Italian gelatteria, a variety of real good restaurants, and a short walk to the beautiful beach out front. Proprietors are very nice, and more than accommodated all of our questions, including help with dinner reservations and tours. Highly recommended if you're looking for the still-undiscovered great place to stay in Nosara. More than reasonable in comparison to some of the higher priced places in the area that didn't really compare.

Paspartu is a great place to stay, especially if you are traveling solo or with a couple friends. It's a 10-minute bike ride through the jungle and along the beach to Guiones and a 5-minute walk to Pelada right in front of Olga's. The owners are great hosts and are well established in the area so they know where to send you for dinner and activities. The rooms are brand new and clean. A hot shower with great pressure and thick hotel towels are welcomed after a long day of surfing, yoga, biking, hiking, atv riding, whatever it is you choose to do. The area is quiet, but there is a small grocery next door, fantastic Seekret Spot gelato and internet cafe, and two great restaurants - Il Pepperoni and La Luna - right down the street. We rented bikes and got around between Pelada and Guiones with no problems. Just bring a flashlight for walking at night because there are no streetlights and it's very dark. My friend and I felt super safe and comfortable there the whole time. We were in Costa Rica for two weeks and this was, by far, our favorite place to stay. It's a sweet, sweet spot!
