My wife and I and two friends spent a very enjoyable three nights here at the end of June 2014.
We were very impressed with the standard and cleanliness of the hotel in general. We were especially impressed with the quality of the bed linen and the towels in our room which was spacious, bright, airy and well furnished, with a very pleasant outlook on a rural setting. The shower was brilliant!
The staff were very friendly and helpful and the food was of a very high standard.
The entrance and foyer were quite impressive which immediately gave a good beginning to our break.
We would recommend The Milford Inn Hotel to anyone and we hope to return in the near future.

Staff were friendly, rooms were clean and spacious, price was reasonable - what more could you ask for? Very happy with our experience at this hotel, will definitely be staying here again next time I'm in Milford.

Really enjoyed a short break at Milford Inn Hotel, with a friend. We received a very warm welcome and were accommodated in a spacious, quiet, clean and comfortable room - just what we desired. During our stay, we had evening meals in the bar/bistro, which was a pleasant area and which provided a very adequate menu. We partook of the table d'hôte menu and we're greatly satisfied with the choices available. The meal was quickly and efficiently served, together with a bottle of their house red, the quality of both food and wine were excellent.

Altogether a very good experience (though we were a little taken aback at the prices on the wine list).

We took a groupon deal for two nights B&B and bottle of house wine. All for £69. Apart from a good deal, we enjoyed good service, food and comfort. All the staff gave good service and we're very helpful and polite. Only one small problem was the wifi connection was only available in the bar/lounge area, but we got enough internet as we needed.
Our experience is enough to say we can recommend The Milford Inn Hotel and would certainly go again.

I have decided to sell up in England and move to Donegal so I came here at relatively short notice to sort out what may best be described as "the logistics of moving".This is a truly beautiful part of Ireland. I booked a short stay at the Milford Inn and from the moment I first spoke to the staff here to arrange my visit, I was treated with utmost courtesy, professionalism and friendliness. The deal I booked for 3 nights was exceptional value. 3 nights bed and breakfast and dinner on 2 nights. The quality of the food was excellent. Drinks were not overly expensive and staff went out of their way to be helpful. Nothing was too much bother. The room was very clean and comfortable and the shower was great....really good pressure, which is not always the case in hotels! Wifi in the rooms would certainly be beneficial, but availability in the public areas was good. It is good to see this hotel reopened. It's great to breathe life back into the community. I wish the new management success with the reopening. I have no hesitation in recommending it and will definitely revisit.

I am glad to hear you are moving to the area as we have a great bar and restaurant. The wifi I'm pleased to say is now working in the rooms as well as the public areas.

Hope to see you back again soon if not as a guest as a valued customer.

My boyfriend and I wanted a value break away for the bank holiday and sure did we get it in milford. I purchased the voucher on pigs back which entitled us to two nights b n b and a 2course evening dinner each. The food was delicious and the staff were so friendly and welcoming. The hotel itself is about 20-25 minutes outside letterkenny and is situated in the picturesque countryside. The receptionist kindly told us of Finand Head which is about 40mins from the hotel and is absolutely gorgeous set in the rural isolated landscape at the top of donegal and a has lighthouse for many picture opportunities. The rooms were so clean and spacious and the shower was very powerful. I would Really recommend this small, cosy, warm, clean, friendly hotel.
