“Still nice, but sloooooow service.”

This is a bit expensive, but comfortable hotel for those who are spending 1 day by the airport in Rome. The rooms are large (by European standards - about the same size as a US hotel room). The hotel is clean and updated. The beds are great! Some have adjustable firmness settings. The food is good, but not exceptional.

The challenges are slow check in service, slow restaurant service, slow WiFi and a bathroom shower that will leave 1/2 liter (litre for you EU guys) of water on the bathroom floor due to the EU shower bad (yet common) shower design.

This hotel needs more front desk staff and a streamlined process. We waited 15 minutes to check in and I saw the check in line 10 guys deep all evening long.

The hotel need more wait staff in the restaurant.

Would I stay here again? Yes, I probably will because I know it is a good place, but I wish I was getting my money's worth.

If you need to spend 1 or 2 nights close to the airport this hotel is perfect!rooms are clean, silent and comfortable, 15 minutes from the airport by a free shuttle bus and staff is nice too.
I usually stay here before flying to US so I recommend it!

We stayed here for 1 night after arriving on a late evening flight from Australia via Dubai. We had our 6 month old son with us. Simone (guy) at reception was a bit cold and I had plead with him to get a cot for the baby even though we had agreed via email beforehand that it will be available. The access bus service is good but the signage and directions are pathetic. Restaurant and bar staff were cordial and food was good. On checkout, staff made me miss one bus due to just lazing about at their jobs. I was first in the queue and no one was at the counter, but all three kept chatting to themselves. There were more people lined up behind me. So allow plenty of time if you have a train or flight to catch. Room was okay and housekeeping staff were good.

The room was good, but the service wasn't. I've stayed in other Hilton hotels so was shocked at the distracted, not bothered staff. When we checked in we weren't told that we needed to book breakfast then otherwise it would be nearly double the next day. We managed to get them to knock off the excess when we found out, but were angry that they charged full adult price for 4 and 7 year old children who barely ate anything. When I checked out I was left waiting for ages while the staff didn't take much notice. Only other good thing was the convenient shuttle bus from the airport terminal to the hotel door. It was a very expensive one night stay so we could get down the Pompeii the next morning.

I don't usually write a review for a Hilton Garden Inn, but this was a very nice facility and the bus service to the airport made it very convenience since we were flying out the next morning. Not the most charming of places after two weeks touring Italy, but would recommend it to anyone just needing a place to stay close to the airport.

A group of 5 women returned to Rome for an outbound flight home the night before departure. We drove from Tuscany that morning and were so pleased with the cleanliness of the hotel and the amenities it had to offer (food, shuttle, cleanliness). After turning in the rental car, the shuttle delivered us to the hotel where we spent the night and enjoyed the restaurant facilities.

Stayed here for one night on my way home to Australia following a week in Tuscany. A very clean hotel with a modern layout and well sized rooms many overlooking the airport terminal making some interesting watching. External noise levels were very well subdued, the room had all the amenities needed for one night, excellent shower and most of all the bed and pillows were very comfortable. The bar and restaurant were very well priced with attentive staff and the meal was of a high standard. At the time of the visit the hotel was not busy, the service was of a good standard.
One recommendation would be to improve the signage on the shuttle bus as there are two types operating from the airport of which only one travels to the Hilton.
A good choice to stray if you have an early flight out of Rome.
