We had a nice morning at the museum. You can really see in the way they present the museum, how passionate both of them are. He is more for the Italian people and she presents it In different languages. 3€ well spent. Also take the walk for another euro around the location, you then can see what they talked about.

The tour inside is about 20 minutes and you can then also enjoy the restaurant there.

We did not regret the visit and say thank you! :)

I have travelled around Sicily for years and love coming back and this trip was just staying at a nearby hotel. The people running this tourist trap want to charge you for just walking to the sea front although the area is part of the nature reserve, they were probably the only rude people we encountered on our 2 weeks . Go to Saline Della Laguna its a better museum with friendlier people.

Great little museum attached to the salt flats, still run by the family, 4 generations in. Got a great history lesson on the salt harvesting and bought some to take back to NYC

Thank grtchris
