Spent 5 days in June. Very friendly staff and very helpful. I am gluten intolerant and staff were very helpful in supplying me with gluten free food. Nearby attractions if you are with a car and easy to find. Food in hotel was divine.

Room Tip: Ask for a room with terrace if possible.

We used the Baglio Cantello as our home base on the first leg of our trip to Sicily. It was the first time at an agritourismo and was utterly charming. The room decor wasn't fabulous (bright orange wall and matching bed spread) but it was spacious and very comfortable with a little patio to sit on outside the room. The bathroom also had everything we needed and was very clean. One night we noticed a terrible smell in the bathroom, kind of sulphuric. We told the people in the office and they moved us to another room. The best thing about this place was the dining room run by the wonderful waiter Francisco. Because we used the hotel as a base for day trips, we relied on the little restaurant each night. We were never disappointed, especially in the delicious pasta and fish courses. We will try agritourismos again. The price was definitely right.

Trapani has enough to be seen.
This b&b is a fine place to discover the surroundings.
It is like an oase.
The rooms are good equiped.
The breakfast is luxurious.
You can get any information you want from the friendly staf.
Erice is a beautifull little town to visit.
The salt lakes are beautifull.

We stayed here the week before Easter and had a wonderful time. The kids enjoyed the large courtyard which was also a perfect place for a glass of wine before dinner. The location couldn't be more convenient - the agriturismo is in a very peaceful bit of countryside but it only took 5 minutes or so by car to get to the center of Trapani and very easy driving for Segesta, Marsala etc. Dinner was lovely and breakfast was acceptable. We would have liked to have tasted some more of their own products, like their honey for example. We didn't have any trouble with school groups or wedding parties but I can see where that would be disturbing since our rooms faced the inner courtyard. All in all we really enjoyed our stay here and I would recommend it to anyone wanting to visit this splendid part of Sicily.

Our room was very spacious, beautiful and clean. Reception was open also around midnight, when we arrived. Place was easy to find at least with sat navi.
Only downside of the hotel was that when we went to have breakfast around 9 am (breakfast is served 8-10), the breakfast table was almost empty and staff did not add any food to the table.

Although strictly a B&B, we were there for 17 nights - longer than most guests - but sometimes stayed in for the afternoons either on the terrace or in the courtyard and nobody bothered us. Decent English is spoken at reception and very good English by the lady who did the rooms. Everybody was friendly including the resident owner who put in the occasional appearance and even treated us to some freshly picked figs from the farm. Our room was simply furnished but very comfortable with views towards the sea in the near distance. One odd thing, the wardrobe had a clothes rail nearly 3 metres off the ground! The air conditioning was excellent and enabled us to have very restful sleep. The bathroom was ideal with an excellent shower. The restaurant was very good - especially the fresh-caught fish - but the menus were a bit limited and it was good to get out on some evenings for a change. Decent buffet breakfast but you have to ask for a second cup of coffee and the 'fruit juices' are an interesting assortment of colours/ flavours but disappointingly synthetic. As a centre for touring NW Sicily including the islands it was fine. Excellent road connections. If you want them, there are beaches nearby; it was a 15 minute drive to our favourite, the Lido at Marausa that was worth €18 [less for multi-day bookings] per day for two for an umbrella, comfortable sunbeds and 'facilities'.

Room Tip: Definitely go for one of the rooms with a verandah, certainly if you are staying more than a couple...
