“Terrible price-value”
Reviewed 30 May 2013

You would expect the same food as the charming surroundings of this restaurant, you sit in a cute garden, but the food is really bad and expensive. Most expensive meal we've had so far! Really disappointed.

“Authentic sicilian cuisine - best we had on the whole island”
Reviewed 25 September 2012

The Corallo is really worth the visit! It's a nice little restaurant in a backyard in one of the side streets in San Vito Lo Capo. Not one of those touristic restaurants in the main street of San Vito. I can't understand the bad critics here about this place, b/c the food was really fresh, tipical sicilian and served in a really handsome way. The menu costs 35 Euro per person and is worth its price. They say it's every day different, b/c they are keen to serve only fresh and local products. As starter you get a very nonstandard variation of antipasti, you probably never ate before. For main course we had a variation of pasta with fish and almond, as well as cous cous, which you have to eat when you are in San Vito. In the end you can choose between different desserts - we had a great melon granita and such a tasty lime canolli, you won't find in the streets of sicily. The wine menue maintains lots of good sicilian wines, so can spend a very comforting and enjoyable evening at the Corallo!!

“Our best meal in Sicily”
Reviewed 25 June 2012

The restaurant has a lovely garden and only offer whatever is the dish of the day. However, as we are vegeterians, they offered us a vegetarian collection of starters that were to die for, followed by an excellent pesto trapanese. The portions were big, maybe too big, but it seems to be how Italians like it.

“Eat what they give you, it is all great”
Reviewed 17 June 2012

Wonderful idea of a fixed local menu, changing every day. Food was exceptional. Garden style seating eating area lovely. When I read some other reviews I wonder if I visited the same place. It is expensive, but worth it.

“Discover Sicilian food at its best”
Reviewed 28 May 2012

We were skeptical to enter a restaurant in a touristy area without a menu... But no reason to worry: lovely owners, excellent food and reasonable prices.
