The most unpleasant lady with a terrible attitude just about "allowed" us to stay rather than welcomed us but didn't seem to care....We found our room clean and tidy and pleasant enough.

Two primary reasons for choosing were wifi and air conditioning.

On discovering no wifi we asked and were greeted with very brusque "The contract has run out. You can pay for it extra".

I mentioned politely that the politely in the morning that I was unable to operate the air conditioning and was told very abbruply that is does work and was marched upstairs for a demonstration.

I have never met someone so rude and unpleasant in all my travels.

Have a pleasant trip and avoid Hotel Mediterraneo in San Vito Lo Capo.

The hotel itself is OK- a small balcony with a sideways view of the sea- shower is incredibly small- could just about wash my hair.
We booked this late, so this was the only hotel left in San Vito lo Capo., they charged us (family of 3) 200 euros per night- but when we did the check out they had added an extra 2euros per adult- we asked what that was, and the receptionist said all hotels in Italy did it- we stayed in 5 hotels in Sicily, and this was the only place that charged extra!! We stayed 2 nights, then found an apartment for 120 euros per night up the road- there is also a hotel with a swimming pool for 160 euros per night just further up a hill to this hotel, but it is not on the internet.
This hotel is OK for 80 euros a night, maybe 100 euros- but not more than that- the breaksfast was OK, but we had better in the other hotels. The room was cramped- I would say it was the worse hotel in which we stayed, and the most expensive. Staff are friendly, it is opposite the beach, but it is not worth 200 euros per night- there is no swimming pool, no gym, no library- no extras, just a room and a restaurant.

Moto is, if they charge you 80 euros per night it's fine- if they charge you 200 euros- DON'T GO, YOU CAN FIND BETTER FOR THAT PRICE!

Room Tip: Sea view, but can be noisy beause of the road, and neighbouring houses
