“Nice place on nice location”
Reviewed 14 August 2014

Pro:
Close to the beach (5 min) and the city (~7-8 min). The hotel had a reserved part of the San Vito Lo Capo beach with free sunbeds and umbrellas for guests, which was great. The beach is excellent - but it would be nice to go there when there is less crowd. Our apartment was half embedded in a rock, completely new and looked marvelous inside and out. A big terrace overlooking the bay. Very nice yard with lots of flowers. Big swimming pool (you had to wear a swimming cap) with separate part for kids. Free parking on site, free wifi internet (although only on one device).

Con:
- there is no restaurant in the hotel, although stated on booking.com site (this is not a problem, just a misleading info)
- internet is kind of slow, and can be used on one device only
- there is only one big market in the city and it is quite far - you need a car to go shopping

Room Tip: ask for room H2 - it is somehow detached from the main complex

Staff is kind and helpful, rooms are clean, animation a pain ...but it's a village so, be it, location is very good, however:
- the pool closes from 13.00 to 15.30, officially for lack of supervision....well hire somebody!!! It's unbelievable that a pool remains closed in August in a resort. I thought is was a joke. But it wasn't;
- the bar is very poorly serviced;

Overall the place is not a 4 star resort. With some improvements, a good 3 star.

The apartment complex is a 10 minute walk from main street where all the restaurants are and the very nice beach. It is a bit run down.
Very, very basic apartment and basic kitchen. Nice vegetation. Nice environment. Pool small. Bar/restaurant available. Straightforward staff. Most of them are friendly. There is an animation team around the pool for the kids (and adults) which means music around the pool the whole day and late at night after dinner. You can hear this music in your apartment with all the windows shut. Wifi didn't work when we where there. The apartment has a private beach with beach boy and beds and umbrellas. You pay for this an acceptable fee.
Good and safe parking facilities.

The place is nice, conviniently situated 5/10 mins walk away from center and main beach in S Vito Lo Capo.
As it offers small flats rather than hotel service, main clients were families and groups, which can be quite loud. Also breakfast wasn't that great, you are better off going to get a nice cappuccino and Genovese in the center.
I wouldn't recommend it for young couples.

We won a one week stay here in a drawing. It was great. The location is good if you are looking to relax and truly vacation. Not so go if you are being a tourist in Sicily. It is too distant from most historical attractions. The town of San Vito Lo Capo is a great place. A number of really nice restaurants. A great beach. I agree not to many Americans here. People speak English and will put up with your poor Italian. Great staff. Only draw back is smoking. They do allow smoking in the units. It wasn't an issue in that the unit did not smell of smoke, but we were early in the season.

What I like the best is how easy it is from the hotel to the citi centre. An easy walk and you can visit the centre, port and the bus stop.

It is a hotel that is used by people within Europe. You won't find many American travelers. This is fine for me but you should know this. The reception staff speak english. The bistro/bar staff can communicate somewhat but not great. My favorite staff person was David at the reception desk.

The hotel is nice. I had a problem with ants in my kitchen. My other comments is that there is no dishwashing soap or tee towels for doing dishes. That was a bit difficult since I was there for one week.

The bed was moderately confortable. It was two twins made into a larger bed.

Overall, it was a good experience at the hotel.

Room Tip: Bring a small bottle of dish soap and a wash towel

Perfect location, wonderful staff, catering for young and old. Going out of season made it especially tranquil. Water was till cold, but that didnt stop the kids. The view from our garden was breath taking. Apartment clean and comfortable.....we will return.
