“Idyllic setting in Umbria”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 5 August 2013

This was our first return to Umbria in a number of years after many visits to other parts of ltaly particularly Tuscany. We arrived on a very hot June afternoon and were immediately made most welcome by Francesca. The apartment, I Mandorli, by the pool was superb - it was beautiful and clean. Although the accommodation is fairly remote it is easy to visit other parts of Umbria. The location is a lovely quiet and peaceful spot with great views, Assisi can be clearly seen in the distance. Francesca and her family were very friendly and made our stay extremely enjoyable. A trip to the local vineyard, Monte Vibbiano, is a must. There is even a local baker who calls a number of times a week! Overall a fantastic holiday!

A one-of-a-kind place, perfect when you want to discover a more real and genuine side of Italy. The location is ideal, it's easy to drive to Perugia or Assisi by car and even to drive up to Tuscany for the day. The town of Migliano is just the cutest little hamlet with a Medieval Castle which comprises of a local restaurant and great view over the hills. Our apartment was super clean and the welcoming warm as you would expect from a good Italian host! Thank you so much, we'll definitely come back in the summertime when the local feast is on.

My husband, 8 month old baby and I holidayed here having spent our honeymoon here two years ago. Francesca the owner is very friendly and is so hospitable.

The accommodation is clean and comfortable. Francesca was very helpful and sorted us out with a travel cot, high chair and fan. She couldn't do more to help.

Splendid pool and equally splendid views of the Italian countryside. Good pagoda area which was perfect for my daughter and ensured she was kept out of the intense sun.

All in all a most enjoyable holiday.

Agriturismo Ripaiani lies beautiful and undisturbed on the top of a mountain with af view of fields and green valleys. The atmosphere is typically Italian, and the place invites to peace, absorption and a good book. The pool offers the opportunity to take a refreshing bath, and the rustic outdoors-kitchen contributes highly to the charm of the place. The apartments are roomy, tastefully arranged and equipped with most ordinary necessities. There is spent a lot of care on materials, which appears in perfect line with nature. All facilities are being well maintained and everything appears nice and clean. As a guest one always meet an incredible readiness to help. You feel very celcome and comfortable. My family and I can strongly recommend Agriturismo Ripaiani.

Francesca, the hostess and owner, is just precious, friendly, and her English is truly excellent! The apartments, pool and grounds are spotless, new and beautifully decorated. Visit the farm's horses, enjoy the views of surrounding walled towns, wake up to the calls of the cuckoos (very pleasant!). A neighboring property has fabulous and affordable Italian cuisine...you can walk there. We will be back!

Room Tip: We stayed in the villa right next to the pool, and it was perfect. Very quiet.
