“Best in the Algarve”
Reviewed 12 February 2013

This restaurant still have the same look for the last 20 years, it is the best place in Cacela for fresh fish and a wonderfull meal. It has the best BBQ area in order to have the best grilled fish possible. I recommend the Sangria and the tomato and pepers salad. The fish variety is huge and the service is great. The former name is "Manuel Indio" that used to whistle when the food was ready.

“Land of confusion”
Reviewed 18 September 2011

Originaly it was a typical type of portuguese restaurant called "tasca" or "taberna" (tavern), now it keeps a popular caracter, but don't think that this mean "cheap".
It was a hot summer day and outside people is seated in benches too close to the person seated behind you, so when they get up or waiters come with food they kick you hard in your back wich is very unconfortable...
The food avaiable is mostly grilled fish, fresh and well managed, but with the salad they made a confusion that cost us more €4 for a lane of spanish "pimentos"! We just wanted a normal tomato, lettuce and onion salad.
Bill: €35
