Torrox Pueblo, approx. 6 km from Torrox Costa, a lovely village sitting on a hillside.
The apartment is modern, easy to maintain and has all the requirements for a long stay. We were there for the whole of February and the air con easily coped with the cool nights.
The best place we have been to for walking, either from the village or from nearby villages further up into the hills.
Torrox claims to have the best climate in Europe and we wouldn't disagree with that.
If you have ever fancied living in a Spanish village rather than the overpopulated costas but reckon that your Spanish is not good enough, this is the perfect place to start. You can find everything you need in the village or catch a bus to somewhere different.
I spent three nights in this lovely apartment. The interior design & furnishings have class written all over it. The owner Louisa is a very professional but friendly person to deal with. The views from all three main rooms, the lounge & both bedrooms are amazing, very picturesque. The main Torrox plaza is a short & interesting walk away, its full of bars & restaurants & in the warm balmy evenings is buzzing & the place to be. First class & i will be booking again.
