My husband and I spent 3 nights at Dunire in April and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. My previous experiences of B&Bs in Scotland were that they were not quite up to the same standard of those in Ireland, however, Dunire has definetely changed my (mis)conception.

We arrived by bus and the cottage is very conveniently located about 50m from the bus stop and the village itself. It is also within walking distance of the next wee village, Ballachuish and in the other direction, it is a 40min walk from the best pub and eatery in Glencoe.

The hosts were lovely people, very friendly and helpful and also great craic!

The place is spotlessly clean and the bathroom in our room was just fabulous. We also particularly enjoyed the breakfasts - lovely fresh fruit salad, great selection of cereals, yoghurts etc plus a lovely cooked breakfast made to order (as seasoned B&B guests I can assure you that it is one of the best we have had).

All in all, I would highly recommend this B&B.

Room Tip: It is worth paying the extra couple of pounds for the King room as it has a great view and wifi work...

Very friendly hosts, immaculate B&B, obvious the owners care a great deal for their property and the comfort of their guests. Room was immaculate, facility was immaculate, nice sitting area, large bathroom. Beautiful outdoor landscaping. I highly recommend. Internet doesn't work in all rooms but easy enough to overlook and use wireless from a different spot in the B&B given the value, cleanliness and comfort. Again, highly recommended.

This is easily the best B&B we have ever stayed in. The bedroom & bathroom were immaculate, beautifully furnished, warm & comfortable. Just like the welcome! The hosts were charming & welcoming, & the breakfast was delicious. What's not to like? If we ever go back that way, we'll know where to stay.

When arriving Gordon explained everything to us and then left us to our own devices.

i would highly recommend this cottage, it i situated in the middle of of the village and on close hand to the Glencoe gathering who sell the best fish and chips every and of walking distance to the Clachaig Inn, the Pap of Glencoe and many other places of interest whick took us hours to explore.

hope to be back next year at the same time

We stayed here as a base to canoe Loch Shiel and stayed in Kentra Cottage which is part of the guest house. First impressions were very good indeed and the cottage is of a very high standard and is immaculate inside and out. The owners were very friendly and helpful showing us around the cottage and explaining everything in detail which was a bonus......I suppose it helps with them living next door as I've stayed in places before where keys are left and it takes you 3 days to work things out.

We will without a doubt stay here again as its such a great place to go and put your feet up and relax if you like or with those mountains and lochs literally on the doorstep go have some adventure :-)
