Myself, my wife and my mother-in-law stayed in a 2-bedroom villa for the evening of 6 January. The impression we got from the website and of the property when we first arrived, was that it would one of the best places to stay in this part of the Coromandel.
Got to the villa and our front door area was littered with cigarette butts, although the room itself was really tidy and clean. Apart from flat batteries in the tv remotes and the poorly designed layout of both the kitchen and master ensuite, we were all impressed with the villa.
What we weren't expecting from a property of this standard was the large group of teenagers who had been allowed to rent 3 villas, and spent between 11pm and 2 am yelling between the villas and drinking outside our living room (with all the foul language that went with it).
On checking out, I mentioned this to the person at reception and he advised that they don't usually take bookings from large groups of young people, but they'd made an exception in this instance, as they couldn't find anywhere else to stay.
I subsequently wrote to the resort management who advised me differently - that it was a corporate group - so which is it? I also asked for a partial refund of the cost of our night's stay as a gesture of goodwill, but this was completely glanced over in the reply I received - feel pretty much fobbed off by this place and the indifferent response i had to my complaint, and wouldn't consider staying again.
