House and sleeping room were very tastefully furnished (brandnew!) and extremely comfortable (location - calm); the breakfasts were gourgious - both in variety and mass - like the view on the Pacific! the owners: very nice, open-minded and interested - they made us feel at home with very many tiny things (e.g. welcome drink, cookies and sweets for the afternoon tea etc); they gave us a lot of tips and recommendations for the trip and had several tourist guides at hand for us.
If we will go back to NZ some day, we certainly will consider this wonderful B&B again !

kathryn and peter were a lovley couple, there service was fantastic and we were able to feel at home as soon as we walked in the door. The room we had was lovely had everything we needed and was clean. The bed was lovely to sleep in you could just melt into it. The location beverly hills as the locals call it, was just perfect even though it is set back in the hills it doesnt take long to get to the town centre and its worth being set back as the view is just spectacular as it looks over the whole of whangamata. The amenties were great, they were clean and had little extras to make you feel like you were been taken care of. The best was the breakfast very well done and great section. We enjoyed everything and am happy to spead the word and would definitely go back.

At Pacific View we stayed in the Superking Room for 4 nights, which gave us a spacious and double-aspect light airy room with a balcony and a superb view all around, over the town and out to the Pacific. Although Peter and Kathryn are both new to the B & B business their natural warmth and hospitality and local knowledge made our stay with them in the gorgeous Coromandel area very special. We also very much enjoyed all the 'local colour' in the town, and the coastline. We could not think of a better location to explore the Coromandel Peninsula, which is only a 2 hour drive from Auckland airport, and should not be overlooked on any trip to North Island.

Awesome view from your own balcony overlooking the ocean. We felt very welcome. Our hosts were friendly and helpful yet discreet and we enjoyed our stay. The breakfasts were amazing and our room was kept clean and serviced every day. We would reccommend to anyone without hesitation. Thanks again Katherine and Peter.

As we have advised the info centre who initially put us onto the Pacific view, everything regarding our stay during the Beach Hop weekend was first class. My wife and I have travelled extensively over the years as a part of our employment and more recently for leisure and the hospitality and quality of accomodation are as good as we have experienced, in particlar the little extras that one does not always expect. My first B&B experience was a wonderful one. Kathryn and Peter are two delightful people who treated me to a great stay in an unbelievably beautiful setting. The dinner they shared with me was the most delicious of my entire trip.
