I stayed at the Aparthotel San Bernardino two nights in the month of August.
It could happen that if you arrive nobody will be there at the reception but don’t be afraid if call the number indicated after a short while someone will come to give you the keys. The Aparthotel is managed, and owned, by Family Scolari. I meet two members of the family and there were extremely very friendly and helpful (as Italian is my mother langue it was easier!). I think that the passion for the family in managing the Aparthotel is really a big plus (they always ask if everything is fine, etc.). I had the opportunity to park in the garage then with the elevator you reach your room. The Aparthotel is new (I have been informed built 4 years ago) that is a big plus in San Bernardino (there are no hotel or Aparthotel new like that one). The room, in the Aparthotel you will find both rooms and apartments, was really nice and large. The bathroom had a fantastic shower with massage option (not even found in 5 stars hotel) and most important everything (the bathroom, the furniture, etc.) looked very new. Naturally everything was absolutely clean. I found the price very reasonable (don’t forget we are in Switzerland!). Maybe the breakfast, in the restaurant on the ground floor, that is not managed by the Aparthotel, could be improved….Overall a very excellent and pleasant stay.
