We stayed for 2 nights but once here thought it would have been better to stay one night and second night at Wikawa end of the Catlins. Clean and comfortable studio unit 7 with Seaview. All we needed was here except cooking facilities = cook top and microwave (no oven). A little more pricey than other similar units we have been staying in on our trip.
The unit we stayed in were very tidy and clean. It's not far to stroll to the beach and the town's only cafe. There was off street car parking. The units have a small stove top, fridge and all the usual amenities (tv, hair dryer etc). Reasonable value for the three of us that were staying there.
Scrupulously clean but outdated and very cheaply furnished.
Building should be bulldozed.
Disappointed as better accommodation in the complex appeared to be empty, therefore why put two people in a two bedroom, very old unit with a sloping floor in the bathroom area.
Overpriced for the unit we had.
Front person at desk was charming and very helpful.
Thank you we pride ourselves on making sure our units are very clean. You had booked the economy unit which is really suited for backpackers which is why it is priced accordingly.
We would have been happy to move you to another unit if you had told me it wasn't suitable for you both. I am sorry that we didn't meet your expectations on this occasion.

We have stayed at this motel a couple of times before and it is still good value for money.
It is situated not far from the local pub which based on past experiences serves very good food.Unfortunately on this occasion it was fully booked out but our hosts recommended another establishment at Owaka.
Our hosts were very welcoming and they even telephoned to make a dining reservation for us.
Sorry that we could not host you this time. Hopefully next time we have room for you.

We stayed in the motel for 2 nights, it was clean & comfortable, The owners were friendly & helpful, close to Nugget Point, perfect place to watch penguins & sunrise. The room was large, very clean & well maintinance.
