Our hotel recommended Papù and we had a decent meal. We had the polpette di tonno to start, and then I had the fritto misto and my partner had the busiate di sarde. The shrimp in the fritto misto were very good but the calamari were cool and tough. The busiate were a different story. This was one of the day’s specials and it was excellent, one of the top two dishes we had on Favignana. The busiate, a curly pasta, were served with a sauce made from mashed sardines and other flavorful ingredients.
The service at Papù is prompt and well informed.
