The Lliada was a lovely small family run hotel,Nikolas and his family were so lovely, they couldn't do enough for you,we left there feeling like part of the family, the rooms were quite basic but were very clean, we met lots of lovely people, and the views on the island was breathtaking. We cannot wait to go back to Santorini, and hopefully to the Lliada.

Just spent 7 days in this hotel and the family who own the apartments became our good friends. We were well looked after, lovely bar-b-que for our last evening. Nothing was too much trouble. Our host Nikolas was such a great guy and made sure everyone was looked after.
Beautiful area and scenery was amazing, although the beach was hard work as its volcanic rock/grit. Sunset cruise was fab, lovely atmosphere on board, did not want to leave.Local restuarants only 5 min walk were reasonable and the food was lovely.
Quiet at this time of year, really warm and good for couples or olders.

I and a friend stayed here at the end of Sept/beg Oct for a week. We were pleasantly surprised how nice the studios were for the package price we had paid. The bathroom was small with a shower but adequate for us and it was nice to have a fridge and kettle in the room. Aircon and the safe was extra and whilst we paid for the safe the evening temperatures were cool enough without being cold that we could do without the aircon. The room soundproofing was not the greatest but this did not really affect us too much and the apartment was very clean.

Its a short walk to the black sand beach and as it was near the end of season the resort was quieter than usual which suited us! We had our choice of sunbed locations with no crowds around us and by buying drinks did not pay for the sunbed hire per se.

All the restaurants and cafes we went to served great food and a carafe of wine was very reasonable. Drinks at the apartments were more expensive so we tended not to drink there and did not have breakfast either preferring a cafe on the seafront which did delicious Greek omelettes.

We did a day trip to Thira for the wonderful views and great shops and took the boat at Perissa to Kamari which was much more touristy and I did not enjoy so much. In all I loved Perivolos and will definitely be returning. It is a quieter resort and there were not many families there with young children though the time we went could explain why.

i feel others may like to know that the appartments were fine but please beware that if you book breakfast as part of the package its not worth it. we paid £7 each per night for breakfast as extra and only got a very basic continental one we could have had a really good breakfast elsewhere for less but we had stayed here before and had a really great meal a few years ago

Room Tip: had a nice sunny room near the bar

Just arrived back home, looking for a relaxing holiday so didnt mind our room was very basic! The cups etc were on a shelf over the sink, flies everywhere, didnt eat in once, kept getting bitten then found an ants nest under the bed.Three euros for small beer at bar there so ventured down to the road where it was two euros for a large.Didnt go in the pool as looked very murky, one thing good was that the cleaners were very polite and came in everyday, but the room we was in was dated and when i closed the curtain for the patio door(slowly)i might add,the pole and curtain came crashing to the floor! The beach is beautiful and chocolate crossiants from the bakery are stunning!

These studios are in a good location, close to the beach, near a supermarket and bus stop.
Your holiday experience will probably depend on the site of your studio.....
If your studio is on the upper level of the complex you have a balcony and some kind of privacy , if you have one of the 10 studios on the lower level you have a terrace that is open plan. This is fine but the only table in the studio is outside on the terrace so you have to eat here. ( I don't like eating my breakfast in my pj's in front of everyone) Also not good if it rains or is windy - it did both whilst we were there. These studios also don't get much sun on their terrace.
The studios on the lower level also only have one door and no other windows to give ventilation so they get VERY hot at night. Air conditioning was available but this would have cost us another 100 euros. The upper level studios have a door and patio doors so get air flow through the studios so they don't suffer the heat that the lower ones do. This would make a difference to your holiday experience - not good when you can't sleep at night due to sweating to death! ( may be I'm mean but 100 euros seems alot for air con)
The studios are kept clean but are very basic. Their facilities are a little lacking, 3 sets of mis- matched crockery, glasses and cuttelry etc. The bathroom was small and really a wet room as there are no doors or curtain on the shower, also difficult to have a shower as there is no holder for the shower head, I had to get my husband to hold it for me..
The owners are OK but the dogs can be a pain with their barking at all times of the day and night. The pool and bar are clean but don't look very inviting, not helped by the fact that the sunbeds are stacked up and not put out by the pool.

Room Tip: Ask for a studio on an upper level with a balcony.
