“Wonderful time”
Reviewed 20 September 2011

Stayed for 2 weeks and it was really lovely. Rooms were kept spotlessly clean as was the rest of the areas. All the staff were really friendly and helpful. Breakfast was a little basic but suited us. Plenty of lovely restaurants either side of hotel along the front for your evening meal. Would say this was the best area of Santorini to be staying though you must take trips rould other area's to see all the the beautiful island. good bus conections to Thira then you can get a bus anywhere else or hire a quad bike! Pool is lovely and when we stayed most people opted for the beach so it was peaceful and you could swim without being in anyone's way, pool bar staff are wonderful and lunch here was just right. Would go back and highly recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing holiday.

Room Tip: See if you can get a Sea veiw as they have a better balcony we only had a small terrace area

stayed at atlantis beach and it was a superbly placed hotel if you want a quiet time. it is situated on the beach and by the mountains. the rooms are basic but very nice. the grounds and pool are very clean. the staff are very polite and very helpful. breakfast is basic but edible.
there are a number of very good restaurants situated either side of the hotel. there is a pathway through the mountain if you wanted to hike or jog. i would advise to hire a car [car hire was about 20 euro per day]. if you want to see the island which is well worth a tour as it has more than enough beauty spots. all in all the atlantis beach is well worth a stay.

Room Tip: ask for a sea view and they will if available at no extra charge.

Stayed for a week and overall was very pleased with the accomodation. The pool was very good - clean and with lots of comfortable furniture.Rooms and shower area very
basic but acceptable. With the beach just over the road and restaurants in easy walking
distance its an ideal place to stay.Hotel has a very good poolside bar but unfortunately
closed at 8pm- which was a shame

We have just arrived back to Sweden after a absolutely wonderful week at Santorini and Atlantis Beach Hotel. The hotel is situated in the beginning of Perivolos Beach, this part of the beach is very calm and quiet. If you walk a few minutes in either direction it is much more acitivities on the beach. We thougt it was perfect to stay here, the absoluely best part of the Perissa/Perivolos beach. If you are going to Santorini, stay at this side of the island an take one or two daytrips by bus, car or scooter to Fira and Oia who you absoutely have to visit. It was wonderful to return to the paradise at Perivolos beach after a day in these crowded and buzy villages.

Lying in the sunbed at the poolside the beach is just 50 meters away. Absolutely perfect. The poolbar had a sofisticated feeling and the whole place was breathing harmony. The staff was really friendly and helpful and the rooms and all other areas was clean as close to spoless as it can be. We will definatley go back, and we truely can recommed this hotel.
We were travelling with our teenage children. They also thought it was lovely.

Room Tip: The rooms were pretty small but very clean and fresh. The only minus-not so much waterpressure in th...

We stayed at the Atlantis Beach Villa for a week in August and cannot fault it! It was the perfect base on a beautiful island. I have been to a few of the greek islands and this is by far the best island. The beach was only over the road from the hotel, which was great. Lovely beach, sand gets very hot tho so be sure to wear flip flops! The breakfast in the hotel was good, just the usual bread, tomatoes, cheese, eggs, orange juice, coffee etc. Couldnt fault it! The pool bar was very nice, me and my partner used to sit and have a few drinks here before we went out, reasonable prices as well! Staff were very friendly. The lad on the beach was really helpful, he would go get you a drink or some food anytime you wanted. Pool was lovely too, we preferred the beach though! Our room was nice, it was huge! We were on the ground floor and had two terraces which was good. Free air con which was handy as it was so hot!

Overall it was a fab holiday and we are planning on going back next year! :)

We have spent in Atlantis five nights in early July, after having an excellent week in Mani in a very good hotel. We expected twi friends from Norway and they wanted to see Santorini, but they couldnot afford the prices of the hotels seeing the caldera, so we choose to stay by the sea of Perivolos ( the best of Santorini) to be able to go directly to the sea for out bath. The hotel is perfectly located for that, just in front of the beach, and they have their own umbrellas, free of charge if you order something from the bar, which suited perfectly us. The pool bar also was very nice, with lovely music and nice view- from one side the beautiful pool, on the other side the beach. They had also a lovely garden with palm trees, bugamvillias and many flowers. These were the thongs we liked. On the other hand the rooms were average for the price ( we have paid the same for an excellent suite in Mani!!!) and my husband was forced to make some plumbing in the bathroom, otherwise the water
overflew... Out friends in the next room had a worst experience because during having a bath the water came out black!! They said that the same day they had to clean the pipelines, but is this an excuse if you see black water on you?? The breakfast also was very poor- I hardly believe it was even adequate, so I preffered to have a descent coffee sitting in the pool bar and pay for it extra.
In conclusion, I believe that if you wish to have a real Santorini experience you should stay to caldera side, and pay for it!! But if you decided to stay by the beach, this hotel is an acceptable solution, better than staying in Kamari which is crowded and so hot,

Room Tip: Choose a room with a pool view, they are nicer.

just got back from a weeks stay at atlantis beach. WOW! . first thing i,ll say is that thomson are advertising it as adults only. that is not the case. they do allow children but dont let this put you off. we were made to feel very welcome by the lovely receptionist and the staff the whole time we were there. the rooms are quite basic but had everything we needed. we had the best sea view from or balcony and were very impressed even the view from the bathroom was amazing of the mountain and the winery. best place to eat was posiedon restaraunt owned by a lovely greek family who gave us a leaving gift of a bottle of ouzo. they served the best food on the island. further on was a snack bar which sold the best gyros (kebabs) youve never had 1 like it....delicious. favourite bars were dolphin bar and sellada beach. the cocktails were amazing. oia and fira are definate trips you dont want to miss and the sunset cruise is breathtaking. we travelled round the island on the buses which were on time and reasonable. the real big downside is at the airport . we had to queue with all thomson travellers for about 1 hr outside the airport because it is that small it cant cope with crowds. we were then sent in a few at a time to check in, weigh the luggage then take it to be scanned. we then wer ushered through passport control and straight onto the tarmac to wait for our plane. we had no time for a drink or duty free. but please dont let this put you off. the holiday was the best weve had and the greek people were the most welcoming and friendly people weve had the pleasure of meeting. we will be returning.
