This was our first time in the Correze, and what a great change it was from the busy Dordogne. The camp site is very French (another bonus from the Dordogne), very friendly, big pitches with lots to do. All the staff from the manager to the groundsmen are happy, busy and very keen to make your stay a great one. They always gave us time and help whenever we needed it. The site has great facilities with lots of free animation for everyone. A good restaurant, and take away, and a lovely shaded bar area overlooking the smallish pool, where we usually had a midday coffee.
A short walk to the beach and lake area where there were even more activities to participate in if you wanted to. Another beach bar/restaurant here as well.
We took two dogs that were welcomed everywhere, and there are lots of different walks for them everyday.
This site is well positioned to get you to most places. It is between Brive (a very lovely town) and Tulle ( a town that has so many hidden places to see). It's not far from Argentat, Beaulieu, 2 hours from Limoges airport, and about 2 hours from Sarlat (if you need to get some Dordogne on your trip). You must visit the little tea shop hidden away in the little village of Auberzine(10 mins away)it is a gem.
We were there for six weeks last year and have already booked again for this year. Can;t wait
