“A nice and quiet place, ideal for family.”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 9 July 2013

A nice and quiet place, in the old village, 3 kms away from the beach which give less noise and crowd es. Large and clear rooms with private balcony. Ideal for family. The pool is nice but a little small.

Room Tip: Book a room on highest floor with seaview!

Pleasant, clean, quiet room with a balcony. The lady at the desk was delightful and is fluent in English. Nice breakfast buffet, including cold cuts. A short drive from seafood restaurants. Don't forget to visit Collioure!

We spent one night at Le Belvedere. The rooms are a little dated but pleasant and clean with good views of the beach. The only downside is the lack of air conditioning which is essential in the height of summer. That said, the staff were brilliant, extremely helpful and nothing was too much trouble. The food was spot on. Whilst not an extensive menu, there was enough choice and the dish of the day was superb and great value for what we got. I would have no hesitation in recommending Le Belvedere and would re-visit.........although air con would be high on my list of wants

Room Tip: One with air conditioning!!!!!

We only stopped for the night on our way through France to Spain. We had room 7 which is a large quadruple room. The mattresses were very hard and with no air conditioning in the room it made for an uncomfortable nights sleep in 30 degree heat! We didn't want to leave the doors on the balcony open as not sure about the security in the area.

We didn't see any of the hotel other than our room and reception as we ate out with friends, but reception staff were friendly and helpful with Taxis. Would use again if needed.

Room was clean and good shower.

We spent a couple of nights here in a family group. The hotel is clean and well looked after and the staff are friendly and helpful. The rooms were of a good standard and the balcony was nice to sit out in the evening. Breakfast was plentiful and with a good range of options. We didn't eat in the evening but the restaurant was beautifully set out. The pool is fairly small but very pleasant and never seemed to be that busy. Its around a 10-15 minute drive to the beach so not the place to come if you don't want to drive, however the beach side hotels are probably much noisier at night. on the beach front we found the more southerly beaches bigger and quieter than the central ones.

Room Tip: Ask for a room facing the sea.

The hotel sits at a high point in the area so the upper floor gives good views of the surrounding area. The room was plain but clean and the balcony very pleasant. Breakfast was good quality with plenty of choice. The table d'hote evening meal was good value but had only one option. Very pleasant staff.

We had a great view from our room of sea and mountains. A good size, clean room with double + single bed. Quite good buffet breakfast with a good selection, including salami and cheese for low carb eaters, although with a week of the same a little variety would have been nice. Reasonable dinner menu but we decided to eat out most nights. No air-con so we kept the balcony door open at night and got bitten quite badly, so might go elsewhere next time, but otherwise would be very happy to go there again. A nice hotel with pleasant staff who tended to talk English to us. Free parking which is always a bonus!
