“Worth a trek up the hill”
Reviewed 14 June 2014 via mobile

We first fancied this place after seeing the terrace, bbq and colourful chairs.
Popped in here on a Thursday for lunch after a near hike in the midday sun.
The owner was wonderful! She spent a lot of time going through the menu with us and after seeing the lovely looking food come out which was on the set menu we went for that.
For 14 euro we had a fish and salad starter, steak with salad and roasted veg and a yummy cherry tart.
Everything was delicious!
We had a couple of cocktails and some wine. ..only thing is that it would have been nice to have my margarita in a proper cocktail glass...but my only negative if u can call it that.
Despite being told they shut at around 4,owner happily supplied us with more wine to cover until they opened again but they ended up staying open anyway. Felt so relaxing, with us sitting outside whilst the owners even ate their lunch.
Sadly, to our embarrassment too much ricard, tequila and sunshine ended the evening too soon but until that point this was 100% our favourite afternoon in Les Carroz and cannot praise the owner.....and their friends at the bar enough.

“Friendly, but very slow and food nothing special.”
Reviewed 1 March 2014 via mobile

Very slow, considering only 12 people in the restaurant
Food average at best
I had spaghetti bolognese which was a shocker, if you can't turn out an edible spaghetti Bol alarm bells are ringing for anything more complex
A real shame but the last time for us!

“Friendly”
Reviewed 25 February 2014

Stopped by for drinks in the evening to check it out for supper. Small and cosy with an heated awning outside. Obviously very popular, particularly amongst ski instructors. Delicious gin fizz. Decided it didn't grab us as a place to have dinner so we returned for lunch. Staff really friendly and helpful. Menu just that bit different from places we'd visited in town. Delicious terrine and chicken in a mushroom sauce (with vegetables... hallelujah - up til then we'd only had salad and chips!). Deserves to do well.

“near the gondola”
Reviewed 20 January 2014

Family cooking, at the bottom of the gondola, walk a few yards towards the village, sunny terrace. This place opened this winter.
Very convenient for meeting up between skiers and people who don't ski who can take the shuttle from the village. Good food, nice cosy atmosphere and really very friendly staff. Also fun après-ski place serving 8 beers on a wooden ski with charcuterie. Many locals inside.
