A fantastic hotel with superb caring management and staff, the food and the hotel are first class and you are made to feel so welcome.
Sadly we arrived last Friday for one night only but we could and should have stayed longer.

Room Tip: Any see view room

What a great place for a romantic weekend. Lovely setting and views. Helpful and charming staff. Characterful cosy warm rooms ( try 303) with lovely bathroom comfy bed.
We had a lovely meal in the restaurant ,coffee by the log fire , then a walk in the lovely surroundings on sunday morning. We will return soon .

Last stayed here 25 years ago when we married so decided to go back for our silver wedding. Only wish we had thought of doing so for earlier anniversaries!!! From making the (late) booking right through to checking out the staff were really helpful without being intrusive. Our room was lovely and comfortable to the point of luxury - spacious with incredible views. The cuisine was excellent - really spoilt for choice at dinner. Breakfast was a hearty buffet with a wide choice and delicious. The indoor pool was a welcome addition over the years! Well served by lifts so can't see coming back for future anniversaries being a problem!

Room Tip: We had an end room with views of Robin Hoods Bay from the big bay window and out to sea over the gardens from our side windows

Spent a very happy night perched on the cliffs in the Finnish Lodges by the Raven Hall Hotel. Kids loved it despite the gale - a very good weekend break option. The woodburner was a lovely addition and kept the place very cosy.

Room Tip: Pick the lodges every time

the staff at raven hall make the hotel, polite friendly and helpful ,add that to the stunning views lovely hotel, fantastic food , large rooms and comfy beds you get a perfect weekend.
facilities at the hotel are good ,swimming pool sauna , golf course etc.
the only downsides we encounted were the hotel was a little tatty in places, like the stairwell, and the menu didn't change very much , although the food was excellent a bit more variety would have been nice, breakfast was amazing , really nice well cooked tasty food .
we will visit again , soon and often .
