Fresh and spotless. Good space with everything you need.Stan and wife could not be more helpful getting you settled in, showing where to go etc. Very central to all the shops and not far from tourist attractions. We wanted somewhere to stay near to family that was clean and comfortably, here we got both and more!!! Well done stan.
Definitely come back.
Currently mid stay in thr guest house and can't rate it highly enough! Liz & Stan have made us feel most welcome. Here to visit family and my other half to fish the Aberlour waters. The guest house is immaculate and very home from home like! Already looking forward to our next trip and we've got a few days still to go!! Thank you both for making us so welcome, Michelle & Stuart
We stayed for 5 nights in April - one senior, one adult, two teens and a four year old. We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Stan and Liz, the owners, are incredibly helpful and knowledgable of the area. There is everything you need in the house for a comfortable self catering stay. Beds are so comfy too!! The location is in easy reach of beautiful beaches such as Hopeman, Findhorn, Roseisle and Lossiemouth. Aviemore is not too far nor is Inverness. We highly recommend the Copper Dog at Craigellachie Hotel for dinner; amazing quality and great service! We will definitely be staying again with this being a second stay (we stayed in Miniver Rose a few years ago) which was equally as lovely!
We recently had a stay from Sunday to Friday in the lovely house next door Pagoda which is also owned by Stan and Liz. We rented the whole property as we went on a family holiday. It is ideally situated within a lovely little town with the river almost right on your doorstep and we were made more than welcome by Stan and Liz. There is lots to see and do within easy travelling distance of this property and would recommend it to anyone who is looking within the speyside area. We will be back again :)
We stayed at the Miniver for a short break in April with our boys (aged 12 and 14) and our black lab Leo. It was one of the best breaks we have had. There is everything you need on your doorstep for a really nice break particularly if you like a walk. The Speyside way is just a short walk away from the cottage and has amazing walks along the River Spey ideal for dogs.
The cottage itself is lovely and very well presented. A lot of space with a big kitchen and dining area and a living room overlooking the back garden. It really felt like a home from home. Just wish we could have stayed longer. You are on the high street so ideally located for local shops etc. The Walkers Shortbread factory is about a 5 minute walk in one direction and the Aberlour Distillery 5 minutes in the other. Heaven!!
As for Stan and Liz, couldn't thank them enough for their welcome and their greats tips on where to walk, eat and drink. So helpful and friendly we could not have asked any better owners. They really looked after us during our stay and were so welcoming.
Overall a fantastic break and will definitely be going back. We still have a lot more to explore in the surrounding area but don't think my liver could take much more whisky. Could not recommend this highly enough.
Stan and Liz are excellent hosts making you feel so comfortable and at home during your stay they cannot do enough for you. The Cottage has everything you need to support you in having a great holiday IT TRULY IS A HOME FROM HOME.
We stayed here during the months of January and February and will certainly be back later this year.If you don't feel like cooking Stan is an excellent Chef and provides the most beautiful evening meals. We would encourage anyone to stay here and know that you will not be disappointed.
A BIG THANK YOU TO STAN AND LIZ for making our stay so enjoyable.
