We stayed 5 days with my wife in the Arizona suite. The place is exactly what we were looking for. Fountainhead is pretty isolated in the Andalusian countryside (make sure you rent a 4x4 as the access road is treacherous). The hotel provides with 4 large suites that contain all you need to be completely autonomous (small kitchen). Indeed, Helen and Peter (the owners) will not bother you once during your stay, or only to ask you if you need anything. They serve delicious croissant and pastries every morning to your door. They also run a restaurant which serves excellent food (although it comes at a price - the London price) for dinner.
The Arizona suite has a plunge pool (as all the others), which is very nice to have (especially after a day spent walking in the countryside) and the terrace offers lovely views over the mountains. Having breakfast on the terrace in the morning is a real pleasure (just hearing nothing but the birds).
The bed of the Arizona suite (where we stayed) was very comfortable (large and firm). Only negative comment (even though I knew it before my arrival) : No air conditioning in the rooms, which is a pity in the summer when temperature can reach >40 °C. They provide a small portable air conditioning unit, which is OK as it keeps the bedroom cool during your sleep, but is not optimal.
In conclusion, in spite of the air con, I would definitely come back.
