“Beautiful location, magnifiecnt views and fully stacked up”
Reviewed 8 May 2017 for a stay in May 2017

The location of this house is absolutely stunning and the pictures totally justify what you will get to see. You can spend hours looking out of the window and just be by yourself or enjoy the moments with loved ones.Decent sized house, but filled with warmth and care.

A lot of thought has been put into all amenities provided. Extra sheets, extra towels, extra blankets.

Whatever age you are or whatever you want to do, you will find this place stacked up. We travelled with an infant and a toddler, 6 adults with totally different choices including two 60+. From baby, games to box toys, from video games to films, books, outdoor equipment(cycling, water sports gadgets and sand toys)and golf set. They provide all weather jackets(lots of them). They even had hair styling equipment(absolute delight). Enough supplies of personal care(shampoos, creams, shower gels etc) for all ages but recommend you check for expiry dates. We found a few dated ones. But overall, you think about it and they have it,rather you think about it because they have it. Kitchen was beautiful and convienent.Though they have basics in place, bring your own supplies and you are all set up .In case, you want to order in, keep enjoying life gadget free as they have enough pamplets to chose from.

They even had pet supplies!

This is the only place my 6 year old did not want to leave and he cried and he cried his eyes out to stay there forever.

They have gorgeous art pieces around the house, each carefully selected.Though they could do away with a few as sometimes it became crowded with 2 kids and we were petrified if they would break a few or some may fall on them.

Wonderful place to enjoy moments with family, put your feet up and relax.

“Luxurious home away from home and then some!”
Reviewed 9 March 2017 for a stay in February 2017

What a fabulous location! Amazing views and right in the centre of Portballintrae. I'm not sure abt you, but I always forget something and end up packing the kitchen sink as well. I have never stayed anywhere that had everything. Dog leads, loads of wellies and warm coats, even fishing nets, surf boards and a picnic basket and BBQ - even though it was a bit nippy to consider using them; I just loved how well prepared this property was to accommodate our two families.

Plenty of beds to suit all types of occupants especially our disfunctional extended family.
Lovely soft snugly quilts and plump pillows to enjoy extended lie ins! Beautiful walks and great places to eat nearby and my daughter was able to avail of a pair of walking shoes that fitted perfectly as yes you guesssed it; I forgot to bring her own walking shoes!

We spent our last night in and enjoyed playing a few board games that were provided and considered trying on the array of wetsuits provided but decided that required a bit more effort than we were prepared to put in.

Overall a beautifully furnished home that we felt welcome in from the moment we arrived!

“The Lookout”
Reviewed 8 March 2017 for a stay in February 2017

This rental apartment is absolutely fantastic.
Private parking in a reserved space.
The apartment itself is a well presented extremely large 3 bed family accommodation.
The owner provides everything that you may have forgotten in a rush to get to this north coast haven, from wetsuits and bikes to a travel cot.
The Lookout is in a perfect location to go exploring. From the Giants Causeway which can accessed via car or for the more adventurous a hike from Runkerry around the headland or a 15 min drive will take you to The Dark Hedges from the HBO series Game of Thrones. There is so much to see and this is a perfect base.
The living room has a raised area in which you can gaze over the harbour and out to the Atlantic ocean.
Wifi is also provided .
The bedrooms are large and comfortable and the master bedroom has a ensuite.
We enjoyed are stay here and will be back.

From wetsuits of various sizes to toys and highchair, dvds for, movies not that I watched any the view was so amazing I couldn't tear myself away from the window seat. Lovely to be able to wLk downstairs and be in the lovely Bayview Hotel, food is lovely and then relaxing by the open fire with a glass of wine. I would rate this apartment 5 star.

“A undiscovered gem”
Reviewed 4 March 2017 for a stay in February 2017

Myself and my family (husband and our 2 children, aged 1 and 3) stayed in this stunning apartment over half term. On entering, we were completely blown away by the elegant decor and spectacular views from this 5 star penthouse apartment. We enjoy 'staycations' 3-4 times a year and I have never stayed in such a fully equipped holiday home. The attention to detail was refreshing. From providing wetsuits for the surfers to waterproof coats and hats for those blustery walks along the North Antrim coast.

The host very kindly provided a travel cot and children's toys to keep my little ones entertained and there was a large selection of books for the grown ups. The beds were so comfortable with quality sheets and the apartment is so cosy and quiet, we didn't want to leave to explore the area!

It was perfectly situated for our family trip, with the highlight being a beach directly across the road, which my children absolutely loved. It is easily accessible to the breathtaking beaches, Giants Causeway, Portrush and Coleraine. Only a 15 minute stroll into the delightful village of Bushmills for a well deserved 'Ulster Fry'. Also, it has a variety of supermarkets/convenience stores, for our cooking supplies for the largely well equipped kitchen.

I cannot recommend this delightful apartment highly enough and will be back again very soon. Thank you

“Excellent”
Reviewed 5 January 2017 for a stay in December 2016

This is my second time staying in the lookout. We had such a lovely time again! Could just live in it! Has everything you need and so good for the kids with the toys and Xbox. We took some lovely walks along the beach and went for a drive to portstewart and into to portrush for a meal. Apartment very clean also and bed linen fresh also. I loved getting up in the morning with a cuppa and sitting on the lookout chairs taking in the scenery! Pure bliss!!

We went to the Lookout for the Easter weekend with our kids and immediate family. Everyone from grandparents to children absolutely loved this place. Very spacious with unbeatable views of the bay. The apartment is perfect for family's and we will most definitely be back! 8 of us (6 adults and 2 children) stayed for 3 nights and I wish we had longer. Lots of amenities like a Nespresso coffee machine and loads of board games etc if the weather isn't great. Right beside the bay view hotel and only a few mins drive from the famous bushmills inn. we have stayed in various apartments and holiday lets around Portballintrea and bushmills for the last few years and this was the best one yet by a country mile!
