The hotel its self is ok but its stuck in an industrial area with workshops and warehouses its a few miles into town, would not recommend if you like to get out and about.
The staff were great its just poorly located

Room Tip: If all you want is a bed for the night than its ok

The bedroom was very poorly lit and had no air conditioning. That forced us to have the window open, but that meant I hardly slept because of the continual noise from an extractor fan on the ground floor.

The double bed was big and comfortable.

The bathroom had both a bath and shower, but the dreaded soap solution. Take your own soap!

Free wifi available subject to submitting to their registration process.

Service was friendly and helpful.
On Mondays to Fridays they provided two meals for the price of one for many items.
Continental breakfast was served from 8.00 am at weekend (not 9.00 as quoted on their website).

Room Tip: Avoid rooms that are immediately after the fire door having turned left from landing (stairs or lift...

Excellent place for a cheap stopover. Travelodge/Premier Inn in style. Excellent service provided by receptionist. Close to Selby town centre. Room had kettle for tea/coffee as well as nice shower facilities. Comfortable quiet night sleep. Restaurant also available for a meal or bar for a little drink.

Room decor aspires to be like a Premier Inn, and it kind of manages it, but I wouldn't like to stay for more than a night or two. It's all a bit tired, and rather gloomy, our room was uncomfortably hot and neither we nor staff could alter temperature, so had to sleep with window open but curtains shut. Of course window opens an inch or so, which doesn't cool room down much. Nowhere near enough hangers but we managed. If breakfasting, the continental breakfast would be a better choice than the full English. The children's playground was very popular with the little family members. It would be a good budget choice, but that's about it. Staff were helpful with queries.

Room Tip: There may not be any!

I have stayed at this motel several times over the past few years. The rooms are pleasant and quiet despite being so close to the busy ring road due to the triple glazing and the matteress and pillows are of very good sleep quality. The restaurant is a large affair but sectioned off so you don't feel you are in a barn.

I was forced to stay here, having to arrange accommodation in the area at very short notice; my other choices were fully booked.

Check-in was quick and efficient, staff friendly enough. The room was spacious and clean, bedding very good. The stairway decor was rather tired though; I expect they assume everyone will use the lift.

I did not partake of any food; this being a place which charges extra for breakfast.

Overall, reasonable enough for a single night; but there are better (and far cheaper) places in the vicinity which I would have chosen if possible.

My room had exposed wiring from loose sockets. Breakfast cups were filthy on every table we went to. I will not be staying at this hotel.

It is clear that there is a lack of staff training as customer service is a low priority.
