This hotel is situated in a very pleasant, quiet location, walking distance to the beach (but a steep walk back!). The surrounding area is ideal for walking and just a few minutes drive from Dover and the Castle. The hotel was great, clean and comfortable with excellent food - no complaints at all and we would be happy to visit again.

A weekend away from the hustle and bustle of London, me and my friend thoroughly enjoyed our 2 nights at the White cliffs Hotel. Location is great , enjoyed a wonderful day's walk to Dover cliffs , stunning views all the way. Our room was clean and comfortable . Delicious food every single time , compliments to the chef but most importantly for us, the staff is amazing , very warm and hospitable. They made us feel right at home and that's special. And if you ever aren't sure about which wine to go for , ask Dan !! (No pressure Dan)
We will definitely stay at the hotel again, thank you guys.

We used this hotel as a stop over from the alps at new year as we had had enough of the chain hotels in Dover. It's a few miles from the ferry terminal and easy to find.
We had a family apartment which was a lounge kitchen down stairs, 2 beds and bathroom upstairs which again was lovely. We ate in the restaurant , the food was lovely as was the breakfast. The staff were very hospitable and friendly. We will be back next year.

"boutique" style hotel in a good position close to Dover. Good atmosphere with friendly professional staff. Executive double was of a good size & only spoiled by the shower which was really quite inadequate. The only other negative was the car park at the rear. There is a steep drive into/out of the car park & it is badly potholed ........ if you are in a 'low-slung' car beware you will almost certainly scrape the underside.

This small but perfect hotel was such a delight. There is such a relaxed but professional atmosphere and all the staff were so friendly. They would even offer to do things for you when they were off duty. Good food and and nice room. Very cosy bed. Situated in a lovely village out in the country but within easy reach of Dover.

Room Tip: An upstairs room might be best so you don't hear guests moving around above you and downstairs w...

Booked a couple of days away for my wife's 40th and was not disappointed at any stage. The welcome was spot on, just the right balance between friendliness and efficiency and we were immediately at ease. We upgraded to a 4 poster which was spacious and clean. The place is only 3 star I think due to lack of a total refit which I think would destroy the charm and appeal. It was also more than comfy although a big fat arm chair or 2 in the bar would be great! The food was amazing too. We had scotch egg starter which was delicious and fillet steak for main which, being a man who has a 'top 5 steaks ever' list and has eaten in some pretty decent places around the world, knows what a good steak is and this came in at 2/3 on that list. The service again was just right. The location works really well and there's some great walks and great pubs very close by both road and walking. I would absolutely recommend this great hotel and restaurant to anyone. Thanks for making our stay really special
