“Special place”
Reviewed 26 June 2016 for a stay in May 2016

Thanks Mark and Jo for a fantastic holiday in your beautiful lodge.
Mark and Jo were really helpful from the start, and were great hosts even providing us with a delicious welcome tea on arrival.
They have created this stylish and tranquil eco lodge which is situated in a lovely part of Wales.
The lodge is warm, cosy and has a great outside area complete with fire pit and every appliances and mod con you could need.
Very peaceful location with a great view of the stars at night through the large windows.
We hired bikes at the Elan valley visitors centre and did a tour around the Many dams which was spectacular.
Ty Coed is a special place and would highly recommend it to anyone.

This purpose built space in the middle of the stunning Wye Valley absolutely exceeded our expectations. It is peaceful, spacious, spotless, and so well equipped - with comfortable beds, a pellet stove, a stream at the bottom of the garden, a piano, solar panels, and all mod -cons i.e. top of the range coffee machine and TV and copper pots.... I could go on. The hosts went out of their way to make us comfortable - they were there on our arrival and had prepared manuals about local walks and restaurants etc. We asked a lot of questions during our stay and they were so generous in their responses. Do visit the dams in the Elan valley - such lush countryside to walk in. Cant recommend staying here enough!
