“Great experience”

First time to Wales, awesome scenery great town. The bed and breakfast was great, rooms very clean and spacious. We were welcomed by the owners a couple of characters not Welsh they were English, so we could understand the accents lol. My first English breakfast, wow, love the sausages and mushrooms with fried bread. well worth the visit..

We booked this at short notice as we wanted a weekend away in a dog-friendly place so we could have take our aging border-collie with us. Booking was easy and we were told that they have two resident terriers. What they didn't say is that they have two Staffordshire Bull Terriers which only occasionally stop barking. Whenever a guest arrives everyone has to ensure 20-30 minutes of barking.

The hotel is in a very poor state and needs a lot of TLC. It could be a gold-mine but the pensioners running it have obviously had enough. The on-suite bathroom to our room had a door accessible from the landing which had been badly screwed shut.

Overall, it was somewhere convenient but we won't be visiting again.

If your up for a laugh and have plenty of disposable income then pay this place a visit! Very expensive food and poor value for money and the place is a mess-gear everywhere and as well as dado rails falling off the decor is still from the forties! No high chairs-no changing mats-ran out of jacket potatoes-no burgers and many more various issues. Enjoy your visit.
