On holiday nearby and noticed ad in local news-sheet. Arrived at 7.30 pm, two other couples eating in restaurant but by 8.00pm we were on our own (but this is rural Suffolk!) Service was friendly and attentive. Menu is fairly ordinairy, perhaps a bit dated (retro?) but the sea bass I chose was beautifully cooked and very enjoyable. I must admit I was not tempted by any of the sweets on the menu that night which is unusual for me, they all seemed a bit filling. Good value for money and refreshingly unpretentious.

Enjoyed a great Sunday roast - food was excellent and value for money backed up by friendly service. Only in Suffolk for the week but this was so good, we had to return for an evening meal to finish our holiday - again we were not let down and would certainly recommend the Triple Plea to anyone.

Have had the pleasure of eating at the Triple Plea on several occasions now and have never had a bad meal or experience. The staff are always friendly, the food is top class and not over priced and the beer is great with guest beers always available. A particular favourite is the 'Starters and Puddings' night where you get to have a try of different starters and puds. Starters that I've tried have included mini steaks, kebabs, satay chicken, slow roasted belly pork, pheasant.......all were just fantastic. And then the puds like ginger and orange steamed pudding or cheesecakes amongst loads of other choices.....Thai night is another great experience with food that I could have sworn was cooked by a thai chef. If neither of these take your fancy then the sunday lunches are the best.......i really cannot praise this place higher - I cant wait to go back

We went to the Triple Plea on a rather snowy Saturday night, and the place was deserted. We were very impressed with the food, wine and service, which was attentive but not overbearing at all. Prices were very reasonable too. We would very happily come again and would heartily recommend to others.
