On holiday nearby and noticed ad in local news-sheet. Arrived at 7.30 pm, two other couples eating in restaurant but by 8.00pm we were on our own (but this is rural Suffolk!) Service was friendly and attentive. Menu is fairly ordinairy, perhaps a bit dated (retro?) but the sea bass I chose was beautifully cooked and very enjoyable. I must admit I was not tempted by any of the sweets on the menu that night which is unusual for me, they all seemed a bit filling. Good value for money and refreshingly unpretentious.
