Hotel is situated between Mazunte and San Agustinillo beaches. You have to take stairs down to each beach but it is not a big deal. Rooms are clean, large, with AC and bathroom. Has a spacious terrace with little pool. Nothing luxurious but it was what we looked for. No meals but restaurants are plenty and offer very good food (try Mexico Lindo y que rico). Highly recommended, the view from balcony is marvelous.

We enjoied our 3 days stay in Arigalan! The place is enchanting and Mrs Rose, the owner always there when needed! She helped us a lot when our son was ill. Hope we come again with more time to spend....

Posada Aragilan has some of the most beautiful views of any property that I have stayed at. Perched on a headline in between 2 beaches. Several hundred above, you have 360 degrees on all sides and angles. Rose the owner was extremely nice, very helpful and friendly, introducting us to people, places and points of interest. This is an informal, casual , simple place furnished with an interesting and eclectic mix of objects.
We were fortunate to be given an upgrade to her penthouse unit which had it's own dipping pool , enormous private sundeck. The grounds are filled with bouganvilla and a range of other multicolored tropical plants. The staff was very pleasant and helpful. You are a short walk to town and excellent , beach restaurants. Bear in mind the two towns Mazunte and St. Augustinillo are simple & rustic and not geared towards mass tourism. The beaches are stunning and so is the setting.

Thoroughly enjoyed a 3 night stay at Posada Arigalan in April 2010. Outstanding views from both the room and patio. AC is a real plus in the hot summer months. Splash pool was wonderful upon returning from the beach, boat trip or visit at the Turtle Museum. Rose is an excellent hostess. Ask her about "movie night".

The accomodation is on a headland, overlooking the beautiful bay of San Agustinillo. The rooms are modern, large and well equiped, with a large flower decked patio at the front. There is a fridge, cutlery and crockery and a sink and worktop for food preparation. A shared external kitchen allows for simple meals to be prepared.
The staff are friendly and helpful.
Direct access to the San Agustinillo beach is via a steep staircase with large uneven and sloping steps, or much longer, by following the road round.
There is no restaurant on site and it is quite a long walk to San Agustillo or Mazunte if you do not have a vehicle.
