How we managed to chose this campsite over all the others in the region I don't know, but what a lovely place. Pitches are generously sized, 10amp electricity, toilets adequate (although would be stretched when really busy), loads of showers, dishwashing and laundry facilities. Fresh bread, croissants available each day, pizzas and basic groceries. Just 300 yards or so is a delightful sand beach, and wonderful coastal walks. St Palais and Vaux sur Mer are worth a visit as is the zoo at Palymre. Good supermarkets with a short drive (2 miles) so stocking up wasn't a problem. The site staff are friendly and helpful, although checking in can take some time, especially if several people arrive together and start to rush round to chose a pitch. They come to the pitch to connect your electricity and you will need a two pin European plug (although they do have them to use given that you give the a deposit). It was wonderful for once not to be staying on a site which resembled a carpark and there wasn't a Winnebago in site - hurrah! Only downsides were the provision of taps for fresh water and disposal points. These tended to be on 'fully serviced' pitches which meant having to walk through someone elses' pitch - however, not the end of the world. Would we visit again, yes we would, but would chose a different pitch a bit further away from the carpark. Thanks Le Puits we had a lovely holiday and are now home in the rain, but relaxed.
