We have tried this restaurant four times now and we are still not sure about it.
It is like the curate's egg - good in parts.
I have had reasonably good dishes here and some really awful ones.
I think the problem I have is that generally the dishes come out looking nothing like we were expecting.
For example, on this occasion after perfectly acceptable starters, my wife and I ordered crispy beef Cantonese style and chicken stuffed with prawn.
My wife is more than familiar with crispy beef as it is her favourite meal from any UK takeaway.
What turned up was a large piece of beef that had been coated in batter, cooked, sliced and served with a dribble of sauce.
The chicken stuffed with prawn was exactly that - a chicken breast stuffed with prawn paste, coated in batter then sliced and served up. No sauce and with the quite dry egg fried rice was a struggle to eat.
We will have to find something we like and stick to it because it is a reasonable restaurant and the staff are friendly and efficient.
