On our Tour De Suisse we came across this wonderful little Hotel. Actually to call it a Hotel is not correct as we really would prefer to call it "home away from home". If you look for an outstanding unique place in the Swiss alps - this is the place. Great place to relax and to re-charge. This time we visited it in summer, but will be back in winter. The wood fire hot tub beats everything.

We stayed at Wanna for two nights in late December. Coming in a group of six, we were looking forward to a small, unique and comfortable hotel.

Positive:
- Beautifully redone stable with a window looking into the sheep's stable
- Intimate and remote setting
- Wellness area
- Dinner with local products, different menu every evening, good cooking

Negative:
- We brought own beverages and were reprimanded for consuming them in the common area. They even were confiscated temporarily. This happened on the first evening and shot the mood early on somewhat.
- There's no warning on the website that there is a family dog running around, including at dinner time - the allergic people amongst us (three out of six) were caught by surprise.

We stayed for three nights in early August with two kids aged 4 & 7. The hotel's hosts make you feel like home; yet the hotel does not feel or look like a "family hotel" (plus, the owners have the guts to exclude kids from the small sauna area - even as a father of two young children, I have to concur with with owners).
The rooms are large, light and airy.
The kids can roam the surrounding meadows at their will - - - plus, you do not have to worry about traffic etc as the next street is 300m down the hill.
Great stuff.
